Borrowash Jolly Joggers

Sorry folks, forgot to post the route on the page!

The rumours are true, our run route this evening is Hopwell in reverse!

Our Walkie Talkies will be out on a walk too if running up Hopwell sounds a bit too energetic for a Monday evening!

We’ll see you all later, 7pm in the usual spot!!

Tomorrow….something a little different for our runners!!!

Our Walkie talkies will be off on a stroll as usual, or, they may be watching our Jolly Joggers as they take on that challenge everyone hated at school…. The Bleep Test!!

We’ll be meeting at the Co-op as usual, then heading on a steady jog to Borrowash Park, where we’ll do the test and see what level we can all get to. Afterwards, we’ll head on a cool down jog around Borrowash back to the Co-op.

As is the case every week, this is open to everyone, totally free to join us, whether you want to run or walk!

Our jolly joggers will be heading on a river path run, an out n back route, so go as far as you like, turn around and run back!

Our lovely Walkie Talkies will also be heading out on an evening stroll.

It looks like it’s going to be a warm one-so please make sure you bring water, and stay hydrated over the day.

It never rains on a JJ sports day!

Join us this afternoon at Ockbrook & Borrowash Cricket Club for our annual sports day, fundraising for Ockash Trust! This is open to all our JJ’s, Walkie Talkies and their friends and family.

Come in your team colours (obvs Red, white and blue 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 any sky blue and white 🇦🇷 will be evicted from the area) and have some fun and be silly with us!!

Bring a picnic blanket, a chair, and sun cream (no one wants a ‘twit’ tan like Jamie a couple of years ago. Food will be available from the BBQ, and we’ll have cake for sale too!! (Please bring change for that!)

There’s a first team cricket game on the front pitch, so we’ll be on the back-see you all later!!

Our 2026 Sports Day is this Sunday!!!!

🏃🏻 Join us tomorrow evening at the track!!! 🏃🏽‍♂️

Both our runners and walkers will be heading to Moorways stadium tomorrow, at the slightly later time of 1930-there will be NO meet at the Co-op tomorrow!!!

We’ll be running through (pun intended) some different drills, to help improve speed and stamina-or, just turn up and run/walk around the edge-no pressure!

Tomorrow will cost £3 per person, just to cover the cost of the track hire. If you like, you can bring your child for free.

Join us on the 19th July at oandbcc for our charity sports day!!

We’ll be raising money for Ockash Trust again by being silly, playing games themed around the World Cup!

They’ll be a barbecue, and the bar will be open!

Open to all our JJ’s and their families-tickets are free, we just ask you let us know you’re coming by ‘buying’ tickets following the link below.
