Our Jolly Joggers have had another busy week!!! 🥇

Karl and his Dad, took on a Coast to Coast walk, to celebrate his Dads 70th birthday! Over the course of 12 days, they walked 207 miles, with an elevation of 8800 feet-the same as Mount Everest! 😮 🤯 They had the pleasure of meeting Jambo from Hollyoaks (showing my age!) and Anthony Royle too! 😀 Also known as Will Mellor and Ralf Little! (Ralf is not in the picture 😂)

Rebecca and friends travelled north of the border to run Glasgow Half Marathon, while Sarah did a double-on Saturday she ran 15miles at the Rasselbock Hardwick Hobble, and if that wasn’t enough, ran 5k at Yorkshire Wildlife Park with her daughter yesterday!!

You lot have far too much energy for me…. All I did was eat cheese, drink w**e, and lie on the settee to recover 😂😂

Join us tomorrow evening!!!

The nights are drawing in, and our winter routes are here, so tomorrow, our Jolly Joggers will be jolly jogging on an Ockbrook loop! 🏃🏻 🏃🏽‍♂️ 🏃🏻‍♀️

Our walking group will be meeting for a walk, but there will be no official walk leader present, so it’s just a friendly walk and a natter as friends!

We’re also looking for another walk leader, so if you’re interested in volunteering with us and doing the training, please chat to one of the leaders and we’ll help you to do it.

Both our groups are free and open to all-just meet us at Borrowash Co-op at 7pm tomorrow evening! If you have any questions, PM the page and we’ll get back to you asap!

Look at this beautiful lot, all showing off how super fit and amazing they all are!!! 🤩

Massive well done and congrats to all our JJ’s and Mini JJ’s who took part in events over the weekend-from parkrun, to Golden Gates Gallop and Robin Hood Half Marathon.

We hope you’ve all been at work today showing off your well earned, super shiny medals! 🏅

(And FYI, you don’t have to be a superstar runner to join us for a run this evening-meet us at 7pm by the Co-op tonight!)

Why not join us tomorrow evening for a recovery run or walk?!

Our runners will be heading to Draycott and back, while our Walkie talkies will be going a bit steadier with a walk around the village-perfect for a post race recovery!!

Both our groups will be meeting at 7pm tomorrow by Borrowash Co-op.

We’ll see you tomorrow-and we don’t mind you wearing your well earned medals too!!

Both our Walkie Talkies and Jolly Joggers will be meeting at 7pm tomorrow-the route for our JJ’s is Hopwell.

Hopwell is one of our summer routes, so why not join us before the clocks go back and we have to go to…dun dun duuunnnnn…Spondon and Draycott 🥴🙈🤣🤣

Our Jolly Joggers have been very busy over the weekend!

We’ve had representatives all over the UK! 🇬🇧

Staying local, 5 JJ’s took part in DEKA at Derby Arena-having a break from Jolly Jogging by lifting heavy weights instead! 💪🏼

Fran,Jen and friends running and promoting the awesome Golden Gates Gallop at Alvaston parkrun!

We had a gaggle of JJ’s at the Derbyshire trail run!

And Becca headed up north to smash the Great North Run-her 1st half marathon!

Well done you energetic lot!!
