When I started coaching in 2018, I had no idea where this journey would take me.
I never imagined representing Team UK, placing 5th in the world, building a coaching business with 100+ clients, or being featured in the press.
Yet here we are.
Reading this article made me reflect.
Not on trophies or recognition.
But on the people.
Because while I’m proud of my bodybuilding achievements, I’m even prouder of the impact coaching has on the lives of those we work with.
In 2025, Evolve was born.
Myself, Naomi and Jack united by one vision: helping people become the best version of themselves.
Since then, we’ve built something special.
A community of over 100 clients, all chasing their own goals; fat loss, muscle gain, stepping on stage, or simply feeling more confident and healthier.
This year alone I’ve seen clients win titles, step on stage for the first time, uncover physiques they never thought possible, and completely transform both physically and mentally.
That’s what this represents to me.
Not success.
Responsibility.
The responsibility to lead from the front and show what’s possible when you commit to the process.
As Evolve grows, I’ve capped my own client numbers because delivering an elite service will always matter more than scaling for the sake of it.
The future excites me.
The team is growing.
The business is growing.
And the mission remains the same:
Help ordinary people achieve extraordinary things.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far.

Meet Liam.
When Liam joined Evolve, he wasn’t in a great place.
After multiple surgeries, he found himself physically and mentally struggling. Training lacked direction, nutrition lacked structure and confidence was at an all-time low. He knew something needed to change, but like many people, he wasn’t sure where to start.
We began with a Priming Phase, laying the foundations for long-term success before moving into a Fat Loss Phase. The goal was simple: get Liam back on track, improve his physique and help him feel better about himself.
What happened next exceeded even his own expectations.
Not only did he transform his physique, but he rediscovered a level of confidence, purpose and self-belief that had been missing for a long time. The process became about much more than fat loss.
In fact, things progressed so well that what started as a simple transformation journey evolved into a bodybuilding prep.
Today, Liam is preparing to step on stage for the very first time.
But the thing I’m most proud of isn’t the physique. It’s seeing the man he’s become throughout the process.
More confident. More disciplined. More driven. And proof that your circumstances don’t define your future.
Whether your goal is to become the best version of yourself, step in front of the camera for a photoshoot, or eventually take to the bodybuilding stage, the process always starts the same way:
With a plan. With structure. With consistency.
And with someone in your corner who genuinely cares about helping you succeed.
I’ll be opening up a limited number of coaching spaces on Friday.
If you’d like to discuss your goals and see how a bespoke programme could help make them a reality, drop me a DM with the word EVOLVE and let’s chat.

Happy Father’s Day to my Dad.
At the time of writing this, he’s somewhere on a cruise ship between New York and home, with Mum, living his best life. And, to be honest, it’s fully deserved.
He’s worked his arse off for decades. Now he’s enjoying retirement and reaping the rewards of all those years of hard work. And why the hell shouldn’t he?
As I’ve got older, and especially since becoming a Dad myself, I’ve realised just how much of who I am comes from him.
The values I try to instil in Olivia today are the same values that were instilled in me growing up.
Work hard for the things you want in life.
Treat people with respect because manners cost nothing.
Support the people you love and give them every opportunity to succeed.
Simple lessons, but powerful ones.
As a father, I know I’ve got a lot to live up to. The older I get, the more I appreciate just how much Mum and Dad sacrificed to give my sister and I the opportunities we had.
I’ve learned from the best.
And if I can pass even a fraction of those lessons on to Olivia, I’ll be doing alright.
Happy Father’s Day Dad.
Enjoy the cruise, enjoy the retirement and enjoy the steak this evening.
Although if there’s even a hint of gristle on it, I’m sure the waiting staff will know about it… 😂❤️

One of the biggest mistakes people make in fitness is assuming that more always equals better.
More cardio. More training. More steps. Less food. Push harder. Dig deeper.
But the reality is that your body doesn’t reward effort. It rewards adaptation.
A few weeks ago, I noticed something wasn’t right with my client Shoaib’s physique. He looked flatter, more watery and inflamed. Scale weight was up and condition appeared worse.
Most coaches would have looked at that and immediately slashed food, added cardio and pushed harder.
But coaching isn’t about reacting emotionally. It’s about finding the cause.
So I started asking questions.
Was he sticking to the plan? Absolutely.
Any extra food creeping in? No.
Any deviations from the programme? None.
Then we got to sleep.
Two to three hours per night.
Step count through the roof.
Cardio being pushed hard.
And there it was.
The issue wasn’t effort. The issue was recovery.
His body wasn’t failing to respond because he wasn’t doing enough. It was failing to respond because he’d exceeded what he could currently recover from.
So instead of doing more, I did something that made him uncomfortable. I pulled all training from Tuesday through to Friday. No training or cardio. Just normal work-related activity and a focus on getting at least seven hours of sleep each night.
I’ll be honest, he was hesitant. Most competitors are when they’re told to do less. But trust is everything in a coach-client relationship and Shoaib executed the instructions exactly as given.
The result?
A completely different physique.
Fresh. Responsive. Tighter. The inflammation disappeared and the look we were chasing returned almost immediately.
The lesson is simple.
You can’t drive a Ferrari with your foot welded to the floor forever and expect it not to break.
Your body works exactly the same way.
Sometimes the fastest route to progress isn’t adding more.
It’s knowing when to pull back.
That’s what coaching is. Not blindly pushing harder. Making the right decision at the right time.

Well, I kept this one quiet, but there was one final show of this season
The Rhodes Classic
And my toughest competition to date
I’ll be honest, I brought a good package, but I just couldn’t compete. A new criteria was introduced which held heavier weighting than any other variable…cuteness
So, I’ll have to accept 2nd place on this occasion.
I’ll work on my smile, but I don’t think it’ll be enough to beat this level of athlete.
Now, pass me another cocktail, time to drown my sorrows.

Meet Shaun.
These photos were taken at his second Evolve photoshoot and they perfectly demonstrate why getting lean is only the beginning.
At his first photoshoot, Shaun weighed 149.2lbs.
This time around?
155.0lbs.
Almost 6lbs heavier, whilst displaying a waist that was actually 0.5” smaller.
More muscle.
Less body fat.
Better condition.
More confidence.
And that’s what most people don’t understand.
Fat loss reveals a physique.
Building muscle transforms it.
What’s even more impressive is that Shaun isn’t a bodybuilder.
He’s 53 years old, runs his own business, works long hours and has family commitments just like everyone else.
Yet he continues to make incredible progress.
Why?
Because he stopped trying to force generic plans into his life and started following a plan built specifically around it.
At Evolve, every programme is tailored to the individual because no two people have the same lifestyle, schedule or goals.
The result?
A plan people can actually stick to.
And when consistency meets the right strategy, incredible things happen.
Shaun, I’m incredibly proud of you mate.
More muscle.
Better condition.
More confidence.

Most people think transformation is a solo endeavour.
And ultimately, they’re right. Nobody can train for you. Nobody can stick to your diet for you. Nobody can do the work for you. But that doesn’t mean you should do it alone.
One of the things I’m most proud of at Evolve isn’t the trophies, photoshoots or transformations.
It’s the community.
Right now, our coaching group has 96 members. Men and women from all walks of life, all working towards different goals but united by one thing:
A desire to become better.
The reality is that most of our clients will never step on a bodybuilding stage.
They simply want to be fitter, healthier, more confident and become the best version of themselves.
And there’s something powerful about surrounding yourself with people who genuinely want to see you win.
For those of us who do compete, it’s no different.
This year I’ve shared the stage journey with incredible people.
and have already secured three class wins between them.
continues to lead from the front as both a coach and competitor, where we drive each other forwards.
And competing for Team UK at the NAC World Championships showed me just how important the right environment can be.
Normally, I’m quite insular during prep and on show day. This time was different.
The support, camaraderie and friendships formed throughout that trip made the experience even more special.
I also have to thank my coach, . He takes the emotion out of the process and allows me to focus on what I do best: Execute.
And of course, . Because behind every successful prep is a partner making sacrifices too.
Bodybuilding might be an individual sport, but nobody gets very far without the right people in their corner.
Whatever your goal is, choose your environment carefully. Because the people around you will either raise your standards or lower them.
