Lorraine & Chester 🩷🏆
This one feels pretty special.
Lorraine and Chester have been coming to Jump Start since it began and they’re still regular faces at Ogilvie Dogs today.
We’ve watched Chester go from being scared of people and spending months refusing to do a seesaw, to winning the Level 1–2 Final at IconiX on Saturday. 🥹
There have been plenty of highs, lows and challenges along the way, but Lorraine has just kept showing up and putting the work in.
This is exactly why we started Jump Start. We wanted to create somewhere people could come week after week, build confidence, make friends, work through the difficult bits and be part of a community that supports each other.
Getting to watch journeys like this is a huge part of why we love what we do.
Lorraine and Chester, you absolutely deserve this one.

24th September RKC Show Update
Due to ground hardness from the prolonged hot summer, and despite watering and recent rain, the entire RKC show on 24th September will run indoors on our astro surface as dog welfare is our number one priority.
Timetable Split:
🐾 Morning Session: Grades 5–7
🐾 Afternoon Session: Grades 2–4
Key Information:
🗺️ Course Designs & Judging: Scheduled judge course designs will remain. A judge swap between classes may occur to keep the day running smoothly.
🚗 Arrival Times: Specific arrival times for G2–4 competitors will be announced on Plaza once entries close.
❗️Entries Deadline: Entries close on 10th September. You can update, add classes, or finalise payments on Plaza prior to the deadline.
The G1–3/G4–6 show on 23rd September remains open for entries via Plaza as well!
