In celebration of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, we’re aiming to get more women and girls playing and loving our national game by running Football Sessions up and down the country.
With an aim to encourage more girls than ever before to get involved in football, we’re doing all that we can to raise awareness of the programme and we’d love to get your daughter involved.
Lots of clubs and providers are on board with their sessions in full swing, but it’s not too late to join us! If you’re interested in attending a Squad Girls’ Football session in Bournemouth and the surrounding area, then you’re already supporting our initiative.
The sessions, prepared with the FA, are to provide girls aged 12-14 with the opportunity to play football in a fun, flexible environment with FA qualified coaches. The sessions are available to girls at Bournemouth School for Girls in school years 7-9, children in care, carer birth children or friends and are suitable for beginners as well as girls who are already playing football.
