Congratulations to all the children that took part in our Spring Club Competition. Club competition is important step forward to catch experience in preparing for regional and national competitions. Our target is build a Club Squad for JKA England National Championships - K2, Crawley - Saturday 20th June.

Thank you to all the competitors who travelled today to London - Bromley.
Congratulations to those who managed to win a medal.
And to those who did not win one... there is always next time - most important now is the experience.
The biggest enemy on the mat is your fear.
And every time you start in competition you win slightly more over your fear until one day you win completely and stop being afraid of failure.
We are proud of every single start today.
Everyone showed a fantastic spirit, determination and teamwork.
On the 28th we have our club spring competition.Everyone is welcome.

Yesterday was a wonderful day for Bournemouth JKA Karate Club. Exam Time.
And it seems that the hard work of our students has payed off.
41 Students took part.
We had a fantastic preparatory training from Bianca Webb - International B Instructor, B Judge, and C Examiner 5th Dan JKA and Cyra Webb - Instructor 2nd Dan JKA.
After that, was the exam. Sensei Bianca Webb was only looking for perfection in Karate, and that has built fantastic motivation for our students.
Dear Sensei Bianca, thank you for travelling with Cyra such a long way to organise this grading for us.
Dear Cyra, thank you for your help and enthusiasm.

National Kata course at the University of Surrey in Guildford. Chosen Kata -Kanku-Sho, Gojushiho-Dai, Unsu
