Massive shoutout to Talisa for absolutely smashing her Oakhaven 26-mile charity walk 👏❤️
Not only did she complete it, but she shaved over an HOUR off her previous time ⏱️💥
What makes this even more impressive is that just a couple of months ago, Talisa was struggling badly with knee pain — to the point where she had to cut some walks short because the pain became too much. But she stayed consistent, trusted the process, and kept showing up 💪
Together we focused on rebuilding strength, stability, and resilience so she could get back to doing what she loves without (knee) drama 🙌
After assessing her movement, I found a lot of the issue was linked to weakness and instability around the hips, especially through internal/external rotation and hip flexion on her left side. So we put together a rehab plan focused on:
✅ Hip strength & stability
✅ Knee control & resilience
✅ Improving alignment & movement mechanics
✅ Strengthening the muscles around the knee
We worked through progressions together 1-1 in the gym, alongside a structured plan for her own training 🏋️♀️
The result? A pain-free event, no knee straps needed, and an incredible performance from start to finish 🚀👏

Grow bigger arms⬇️
Triceps make up 2/3 of your arms💪
The close grip bench press is overlooked and a underutilized exercise when it comes to growing your triceps🥐
The position of your body, the alignment of your joints, the bar and the assisting muscles that assist through the movement. Allow you to move a significantly lot more weight than any other tricep exercise in the gym📈🚀
More weight = more stimulus = more growth💪
🏋️Close grip bench tips:
✅Your shoulder blades should be down and back with a constant tightness through your mid/upper back
✅Hands should be just narrower than shoulder width apart wherever in this range that keeps the wrists happy
✅Through the reps keep the elbows tight to the body, they should brush the sides of your body
✅Lockout at the top of the reps and squeeze the triceps to work all 3 heads of your triceps
✅Control the reps
The close grip press is all around a great compound movement. Not only for triceps but for the chest and shoulders too and can be a good alternative for some shoulder and elbow injuries✌️
