Beautiful sunset on this Thursdays paddle

Lovely camp and 14 k circular paddle on river Avon near Bath then back over 2 aquaducts on the Kennet and Avon canal

We have plenty more trips arranged ... next one is a paddle board trip on Stour near Canford

Paddle boards and sea kayaks tonight with the club paddling in calm slack high tide , so out the Harbour run we went,for a venture out to sea, where we saw the ongoing wildfire on the Isle of Wight

The High tide and with Anatole Myint our trained leader, meant we went out the Run and played in the sea !! 2 more people completed their Sea Kayak award🏆🏆🎖🎖 ... lots of self rescue practices in the warm sea!

Pre, paddle warm ups, stretches, safety and medical checks , wind tide, discussion trip plan shared , followed by a fabulous paddle!! Whats not to love about it.
We have no more tasters sessions this season , but if you are interested in our club do pop down to chat to us on a thursday evening at 6.00,

Yesterday on our regular Thursday evening paddle we had a large group of paddlers and a taster group in beautiful warm june sunlight !!
Sea mist drew us up river rather than down to the Christchurch Harbour.

The leaders, as ever, catered for the different group abilities, and it was lovely to see people gainng confidence and skills

Southbourne cano club members did their bit for litter picking on the River Stour last weekend

Wonderful weather for our usual thursday evening paddle. One group went up river in assorted kayak, canoes ,and another in seakayaks did a long circumnavigation of the habour at high tide
