The Yoga Journey ~ Body, Breath & Beyond

We will be exploring movement, mindfulness and the wisdom of yoga for everyday life.

Combining traditional Hatha yoga, breathwork, relaxation, anatomy and yoga philosophy to help you understand not only how your body works, but how yoga can support you in everyday life.

Each week explores a different aspect of yoga, giving you practical tools to improve your movement, reduce stress, build resilience and cultivate greater self-awareness.

I’m a yoga teacher, gym enthusiast, golf player, nature lover and full time mum. After a health scare 20 years ago I’ve done loads of research and major lifestyle changes to keep myself healthy and active - but still (and I’m not complaining, just promoting awareness), I’ve ended up with an injury exacerbated by playing golf - of all things! Partly technique, but mostly my anatomy which I thought I was very much in tune with - has caused secondary problems with my hips and lower back. It’s fixable so I’m ok, but I guess what I’m trying to outline is our bodies are constantly evolving and nurturing this vessel is key to longevity and happiness. Find a balance - yin and yang.
