Another week done ✨

Training sessions ticked off, steps hit, calories and macros on point, and a little test of willpower after Saturday’s WOD while everyone else tucked into sweet treats.

Of course, there were cuddles from Echo, new nails, a lovely picnic lunch with my niece, Bailey snuggles and a huge flat clear out this weekend that resulted in three bags of clothes ready to sell 😅

Physique Update 👙

Just 3 weeks until my holiday! ✈️☀️

I’m just shy of 5kg down, with probably another couple of pounds still to come off. I’m holding a little water around my midsection and lower body, so hopefully that will drop off over the next few weeks 🤞🏻

Energy levels are good, hunger is low, cravings are low, and I’m still feeling strong in the gym 💪🏻

Overall, I’m really happy with the progress so far, especially considering I’ve enjoyed a few social occasions and events over the last 9 weeks.

No changes needed this week. The plan is simple: keep showing up, keep ticking the boxes, and keep pushing. ✅

3 weeks to go. 🔥👙☀️

Your weight does not define your worth.

A “bulk” version of me was not less disciplined.
A “lean” version of me was not more worthy.

One body held more body fat, more softness, more size.
The other held more definition, more depletion, more sacrifice.

But both were me, and both served a purpose.

Social media tends to rank bodies like they’re character traits.
Lean equals successful.
Weight gain equals “letting yourself go.”
But body composition says very little about who you are as a person, your work ethic, your kindness, your intelligence, or your worth.

I’ve looked in the mirror at my heaviest and still been committed.
I’ve stepped on stage at my leanest and still had insecurities.

And at the same time, I know that fitness and transforming your body can build confidence. There’s nothing wrong with that, or with wanting to improve yourself.

Your worth is not measured in kilos, abs, clothing size, or how “shredded” you look in photos.
You do not become more deserving of love, respect, or happiness when your body changes.

That said, fitness can be empowering, and transforming yourself can be an amazing journey. The key is remembering you’re still worthy in every phase of that journey.

Summer cut physique update ☀️👙

6 weeks today until holiday, so 6 more weeks to keep pushing, tighten things up, and get even leaner.

Weight spiked towards the end of last week/start of this week thanks to cycle-related water retention, but it’s already starting to settle back down. We’ll monitor things over the next few days and, if needed, make some adjustments from there.

Overall, both coach and I are really happy with where things are at right now. Training still feels strong, hunger is low, and the physique is definitely looking tighter.

There are still a few more kilos I’d like to take off before holiday, and I have no doubt we’ll get there 💪🏻
