Our Piranhas Black squads have been putting in the work this month in the DBA League!
Tough matchups, great learning moments, and plenty of progress across all age groups.

🏀 U12, U14 and U16 battled hard against Piranhas Orange teams! 

🔥 U23 — picking up a solid win vs Sharks and showing huge development every game. 

Every match builds experience, teamwork, and resilience — and that’s what being a team player is all about.

What a month for our Piranhas Orange squads in the DBA League! 🏀
Here’s how our teams performed in October 2025:

- U12s: 3️⃣ wins from 3️⃣ – showing skill, teamwork and pure hustle!
- U14s: Big improvements and 2️⃣ solid victories – the grind is paying off!
- U16s: Dominant performances across the board 💪

We’re so proud of the effort, attitude, and energy every player brought to the court this month under the keen eye of Coach Darren.

It's great to see some of the players experiencing their first competitive matches. Well done!

Piranhas U18s are Playoff Champions once again!

What a way to end the season!
Yesterday’s Playoff Finals saw our U18 Piranhas team secure back-to-back championships! 

gave us a real challenge, leading for most of the match, but our team showed true resilience and fought to the very end for a fantastic victory.

Big congratulations to our players: Antonio, Bijay, Danylo, Eashen, George, Harrison, Jack, Juan, Marcel (Finals MVP), Muhammed, Theo, Wayne and Yaro. 

As this was the last game of the season, Piranhas Basketball Club would like to sincerely thank  for all their hard work throughout the year and for everything that happens behind the scenes to make the league possible.

A huge thank you as well to all the referees for your valuable input, professionalism, and dedication, and to the table officials for your sharp focus during every game.

Thank you to every club and team we competed against this season — your hard work does not go unnoticed.

We would also like to give a big thank you to our coaches — your tireless commitment, outstanding engagement at every session, and dedication to being part of these players' journeys have made a tremendous impact, not just on their development as athletes, but also as people.

Thank you all for an unforgettable season.

🏀 Playoffs Weekend Recap! 🏀

The First Playoffs weekend is behind us, and we want to give a huge shout-out to all of our teams for putting in 100% effort! 🙌💥

Our youngest team, the U10 Piranhas, gave it their all in the game against the Raptors. Although we came up just 3 points short, the energy, stamina, and perseverance Piranhas young athletes showed is something to be truly proud of. We celebrated their amazing season with 7 out of 8 games won during the whole season — well done, future stars! ⭐

For our U12, U14, and U16, the semifinals marked the end of the season, but the energy and team spirit never wavered. You all played with heart until the very last whistle. 🔥

And the big news... OUR U18 PIRANHAS WON AGAINST THE TOUGH SEAWHAWKS! We’re heading to the Championship Finals on April 27th to face off against ! We’re ready for the challenge! 💪🏆

A massive thank you to all our players, supporters, and especially amazing coaches — Coach Darren, Coach Jack and Coach James — for your dedication and continuous support for these young athletes.

Our U10s squad has shown determination, grit, and incredible sportsmanship all season long, and we know they'll bring their A-game tomorrow! 🏀🦈

Team U12s and U14s have a place in the semi-finals. Congratulations for getting so far! 

Our talented and determined U12 squad is ready to show great performance and fight for their place in the Finals! 🏆 We are playing against Bournemouth Oaks!

The U14s Team have spent the last eight months sharpening their quick decisions, fast reactions, and top-tier performances—and now they’re ready to bring it all to the court vs Seahawks!

Thank you all for a fantastic last year of basketball. We would like to thank everyone who is in our basketball community: players, parents, carers, coaches, referees and everyone who works hard in the DBA and SCSL so we all can play and enjoy the game of basketball.
We are looking forward to what this year brings apart from more basketball, more friendships and more fun.

This weekend we hosted Bridport Evolution.

The scores dont do the gameplay justice as there was fantastic energy and effort throughout from all the teams, culminating in a thrilling U16 game which was close all the way.

We see Evo again this Sunday at theirs.

Thanks as always to those who came, supported, and helped with the cleardown too.

DBA Game Day Results: Piranhas vs Storm

Our teams went against local competitors Dorset Storm today. The scores don't do the quality justice of all the players as the matches were full of thrills and great play making.

As ever, thanks to all that came and spectated, and helped out in any way. Teamwork makes the dreamwork :-)

Our first set of matches this season against Seahawks. Great performance from Piranhas teams securing 2 wins and 2 close games.

Calling all Coaches!

We are looking for a new Lead Coach for the season ahead. This will be someone with good coaching experience and either has an L2 BE Coach award or be willing to get the award before October; start of the season.

We are also looking for more Assistant Coaches too!
