What a great day at Banister Park for the Bournemouth Ladies reaching the County Finals in the Thornbery Trophy. Although narrowly losing to a strong Lee on Solent team in the semi final, they played their hearts out until the very last end and gave the opposing team a good run for their money. We are all so proud of you:

Absolutely fabulous day to open our main green with an inter club match. 48 players turned out for a competitive but fun match. The green is looking fantastic and bowling well, thanks to all the members that have regularly turned out to put the extra work in to achieve this. We already have 16 new members this year and that’s without an open day or advertising, and more in the pipeline. What a great club this is👏👏🤩🤩👍👍

Bournemouth Bowling Club opens its North Green on Saturday 11th April at 10am.
Everyone welcome - if you are interested, and never bowled before, it’s free to try. Great fun, suitable for every age group (we have tiny bowls for little hands), all abilities and there will be plenty of members here to help.
And if you just want to see what’s all about, come and have coffee & cake in our cafe. Parking for bowlers and cafe customers.
