We've been hard at work selecting our bass lure rod ranges for this year, and we're pretty pleased with what we have. Everything's covered from £50 to £600+!

Long but exciting day in the shop today. We decided to do a bit of a refit on the lure wall! So down came the old 100mm gap slot wall, and up went some lovely shiny new 50mm wall! The reason? Well, firstly I think it looks fab! But mostly it's created a lot more room for MORE LURES!!! Lots of new product arriving next week to fill in the gaps. We're loving it, what do you think?

Happy Bass Day!!!
1st of April sees the start of bass season, for those of us who like to fish for the table. You may now take 2 fish per day over 42cm, should you wish!
This absolute beauty of bass was caught (and released, of course) by Darren last week whilst fishing the low water at night in Poole Harbour. He worked a Megabass Super Spindle Worm slowly along the bottom to tempt the fish.

Darren ventured out onto Brazil's famous Copacabana Beach on Thursday night (ok, he may have altered the background ever so slighty, and it was actually Poole Harbour, but we like to try and add a little glitz to the occasion). Being still only March, and the water temps being at their lowest for the year, Darren opted to work soft plastic lure "low & slow" to try and trigger a bite. Using the Megabass Super Spindle Worm rigged on a weighted weedless hook, he managed this beautiful fish of 58cm. As is the norm for this time of year, she was a proper fat pig!
