Health and fitness is forever. It isn't seasonal.
I am so proud of my PT crew, they are committed to showing up continuously.
I've just shared a post on my story from another coach that has struck a cord with me - Go check it out.
November/December is the time when I see most people from classes (not PT) drop off and usually it's because "It's Christmas and I'll start again in January".
Honestly this makes me want to SCREAM! Why would you do that? You work hard all year round, make some great progress, then at a time when you probably need it most you throw the towel in.
It's a busy time, I agree, but isn't that just life. If one of your tyres went flat on your car, you wouldn't slash the other 3. Stop putting barriers in the way and find a way to be flexible. Yes you might not be able to go to all of your normal classes but make your health and fitness a priority, do what you can. Keep active, keep up with healthy habits, it just might look a little different.

Our festive days in the UK December are: 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st. So why on earth would you write off your entire month for 4 days.
Also please spare a thought for your instructors and coaches when you cancel your subscription at this time of year. We still have gym/hall rent to pay and families to feed too. You wouldn't cancel your gym membership just to rejoin again in January... just an honest thought that is worth baring in mind.
Anyway I'm jumping off my soap box have a fab weekend and KEEP MOVING! ☀️🚶♀️

Owning your power of choice has huge benefits.
When you think you have no choice, that just means you’ve ruled out the other options that you see.
How we react to situations says a lot.
Recently I've been pulling myself up when I put a barrier up and think "I have no other choice".
When you have those thoughts challenge them. "What are the other options?" They might not be easy, they might be difficult and even painful, but what if you choose the hard path, what happens then?
Really interesting way of looking at things and definitely opens more doors.

How we talk to ourselves matters. It impacts your thoughts and feelings which impacts your actions.
How you talk to yourself can play a critical role in how you view yourself and your life. Changing your self-talk from negative to positive will take work, but it’s possible.
Talk to yourself like you would a friend. We wouldn’t speak unkindly to them or make them feel bad about themselves. So why do we do this to ourselves? As you begin to reframe your self-talk, remember to treat yourself as you would a good friend. Instead of saying, “I’m so bad at this,” try saying, “You can do this”. If you wouldn’t say it to a friend, don’t allow yourself to say it to you either.
