Unfortunately tomorrows game where we were helping out both Bicester and Abbey has been cancelled

🏉🌟 This Sunday we travel to Bicester Vixens Women's Rugby Team to support them and Abbey RFC Women in what should be an excellent game of rugby!

We are super excited to join them & get on the field. We’d love for you to join us

This Saturday some of our ladies travel to Faringdon Rugby - FRUFC to celebrate International Women’s day by mixing up some teams and playing some rugby - exactly what we love to do!

Yesterday saw some of our girls head over to Abbey RFC - Reading Abbey Rugby Club for the inner warrior tournament. Firstly thank you to Abbey RFC Women for hosting and thank you to Abbey RFC Women Reading University Women's Rugby Union and Bicester Vixens Women's Rugby Team for some great games and thank you for lending us some players.

Overall the tournament was great fun and we came 3rd overall.

3 conversions for Taylor

All the girls put in great effort and should be proud of themselves.

Our player of the tournament was Hedge as she was putting in some great support runs using some great comms and was happy to go in new positions if needed.

Tomorrow’s tournament also sees our prop Athena running out for her 10th cap. 🎉

Athena’ joined this team last season and her confidence on the pitch has grown massively.

We would like to let everyone know that just before Christmas we decided to withdraw from our NC2 league.
There are many contributing factors that led to this decision and we feel this step back will allow us to focus on recruitment of new players and developing our current squads skills. We will be continuing to play friendlies throughout the season.

We hope you will continue to support us during this time as we hope to push forward over the coming years.

Yesterday we played a well fought friendly against High Wycombe Women and Girls Rugby and had a fabulous time! Yes the score didn’t go our way but it felt good to get out there for the first time in 2024.
