The Birmingham Bats are heading to Westmorland Park to take on Bracknell Phoenix! ⚾️

They’ve flown down from Birmingham, so naturally we thought we’d pop them in a cage while they’re here. 😂🪤

Expect baseball, banter, a bit of fire and hopefully a few less bats flying around by the end of the day. 🔥🦇

A very familiar face returned to Westmorland this past Sunday.
Alan Newell is not only one of Britain's most respected baseball umpires, but also one of the founders of our club, making his return all the more special.
It was a privilege to welcome Alan back behind home plate, where he brought his wealth of experience to the field while mentoring three of our newly qualified umpires.
Alongside Carlos, Alan worked a two-man system for the first two games before staying on to support Joe and his daughter, Holly , as she took charge of her very first game as an umpire.
A huge thank you to Alan for giving up his time, sharing his knowledge, and helping to develop the next generation of umpires. It was fantastic to have you back at Westmorland, we hope to see you again soon!
