Kicking Badge 🦵⚽️
Our final badge for this cycle our mega kickers have been working towards is the kicking badge, showing off our players skills in:
- Expressing ideas, feelings and thoughts through football
- Mastering gross motor movements like hopping, skipping and side stepping
- Challenging their football skills in passing, dribbling and striking whilst attempting certain movements in match scenarios

Physical Literacy ⚽️
Throughout the new year so far, our Mighty Kickers have been working towards their Physical Literacy badge, rewarding players for:
- Recognising all major body parts and colours confidently
- Progressing in different gross motor skills such as hopping, side stepping and balancing
- Protecting their football and maintaining possession during matches and games

KICKING!
This is the badge our Junior Kickers (2- 3.5 years old) have been working on.
- Understanding different styles of kicking, such as little kicks for dribbling and big kicks for scoring - A variety of movements like running, jumping, stomping and crawling.
- Improving skills with footwork and control of the ball.
Children will soon be receiving their quarterly badges so stay tuned ⚽️

ATTENTION AND LISTENING
This is the badge our Little kicks age group (18 months - 2.5 years) are currently working towards and will involve:
- learning how to follow instructions from coaches
- Understanding questions from coaches
- recognising some body parts during warm ups
- Waiting patiently for their turn

We are excited to be bringing back our badge system to our classes!
The badge system rewards your child for all of the skills they learn during their football class with us, physical, cognitive and many more.
We also have new sticker books available which help keep track of your child’s progress so if you need a new book then please contact us.
