"I don't know what we're about to do, but I know it's going to be fun!"
This is my favourite student comment from last week as I sat one of my dance classes down, ready to explain their next activity, while I was holding a giant pink foam dice. I try to keep the students on their toes (literally!) by bringing in different props and costume accessories to help teach technique concepts and inspire creative tasks. It made me so happy to hear this student (age 10) was looking forward to the next activity, even though they had no idea what it was going to be. It was wonderful to watch their dance ideas and so impressed with how focused they were learning new choreography with enthusiasm and energy too; WELL DONE DANCERS! 💜

Ahoy ship mates! ⚓️ This term our Nursery and EYFS theme is sailing into a world of PIRATES and ocean adventures! We’ll be dancing through a silly swashbuckling story with great action dances, colourful props and great sea shanty tunes. It was so great to see the children having a brilliant time today and can’t wait to do it all again next week! 🌊

It’s Wedding Season, whoop whoop! 💍 I love this time of the year working with couples preparing for their wedding first dances and hens planning dance parties for their bride to be!
Today I met with D and K for the last practise ahead of their big day. They've worked so hard for months on their First Dance and I'm so excited for their friends and family to see them dancing together for the first time! I’m so grateful to Wick Farm Bath for letting us practise in their beautiful space; it's a truly stunning venue. Thank you!

Come dressed as your favourite character and enjoy dances inspired by popular fairy tales including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel. Children can explore creative dances set to great music with colourful props and costume accessories provided!

Step this way for a behind the scenes tour in our costume and props store! It’s really important to me that dancers of all ages have colourful and exciting accessories, costumes and props to help inspire their dance journey. So whether it's 24 cowboy hats, a 20 foot long feather boa or 50 pom poms required, I am READY! 💜

🧜🏾♀️ If you’ve ever wondered what our Toddler and Preschool Dance Classes look like, here is our beautiful space in South Wraxall Village Hall where our current theme is ‘The Little Mermaid’!
In our Dance classes, children get to learn different dances inspired by popular stories and use props like flower garlands, giant shells, twirling ribbons to encourage imaginative movement. The emphasis is on creating a friendly and relaxed environment where creativity is celebrated! Parents and infant siblings stay in the space to cheer on their child.
