The day ends in a defeat in the triples final, 21-16 to the RWB team of Kyle, Dave and Scott..... but as they say 2 out of 3 ain't bad and we hope Russell enjoys his holiday and the 2.5 hour trip back to Dawlish tonight

An all moultons affair in the men's singles ended with Russell Francis beating Duncan Mcgovern 21-8, it's been a long wait for Russell but he eventually wins his first county singles title

Don't think we're be looking at a 18sec green this year but will still be a great day with lots of great teams entered .. whose gonna take the £600 winning pot ??

Onto Thursday night's MWTL game away at Avon B.C, a rain soaked and dreary night had by all but the moultons eventually pulled it across the line winning 8-2, starting with a superb win by griff and his rink, 12-11 down going into the last end but picking 2 up on the final end to see them 13-12 winners. Rink scores were:

C.Green, M.Powell & M.Griffiths bt M.Maslen 13-12
K.Haines, T.Wilkins & G.Fippen lost to J.Woodhouse 17-11 (might not be right as someone didn't fill in the last end score 🙄)

A good start to both leagues for us but now we go on to conquer Devon starting with babbacombe tomorrow night 💪

A 10-4 win to us on points and we move on to Marlborough at home next week, elsewhere we play Avon B.C away tomorrow in the MWTL and then gear up for tour of Torquay on Friday
