Despite some wind and rain (heavy on occasion) several club members were out representing at Bath Archers Albion competition. As you can see the weather did not dampen our spirits, we had fun and even managed to bring home some medals.

๐จ๐จCompetitions now open to enter๐จ๐จ
Kingston Archers are happy to announce that both our open competitions are now open to entries.
1- In August our first ever WRS Double 720 is being held. This is one is not to be missed. Open to all archers, this competition will count towards improving your national ranking and will hopefully be the first of many to come at Kingston Archers.
2- A month earlier in July, following its success last year, we look to hold our second Kingston Archers Novice shoot. Please encourage new members of your clubs to take part. We will do our best to make them feel welcomed, introduce them to the world of archery competition and generally show a fantastic day.
Both events are being sponsored by Indigo Archery who will be present with a pop up shop and available to answer any equipment related questions.
To enter please visit the events page on our website as per the address on the poster.
Kingston Archers is located in the village of Winsley, just a few miles from Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire.

This weekend we had our annual Halloween shoot. ๐
Great fun, always something different to a normal shoot and with a devious twist resulting in deducted points to all those who fail. Well done to Peter for winning this year, and taking home the prized pumpkin and enough sweets to keep this year horde of trick or treaters happy. ๐น๐๐ป๐งโโ๏ธ๐น

Amy took the ladies title for her first time with a great score, and Lucan who only started shooting this summer took the junior title. ๐น๐๐น

This Thursday a handful of Kingston Archers embarked on their journey of continual improvement with a well delivered (and highly recommended) development coaching session by Wessex Archery Coaching
With the use of technology, good thought out drills and direct feedback each member has walked away being that little bit more knowledgeable and focused on key areas of change that will hopefully lead to better performances, consistency and growth to becoming better archers.
Thanks again Tim for the great session. For those Kingston Archers not in this initial group taking part in these development coaching sessions, there was talk on starting a second group so that every member that wishes to take part can. We believe these coaching opportunities should be available to all and we will in time be providing further details.
