Bradford Ice Skating Club welcomes participants who have passed Skate UK Level 5 to develop skills.

Spaces are still available on our upcoming camp! If you are currently working at Skate UK level 8 up to BIS Beginner level, join us this Sunday 21st June 4 - 7.30pm.

This is a perfect opportunity for skaters to fast track their skating progression, and get themselves ready for SSJ and BIS National competitions.

We will primarily be focusing on the levels outlined in BISCs SSJ criteria allowing skaters to enhance a range of jumps and spins.

Aside from at least 2 hours ice time, the camp will also include off ice sessions to help enhance your knowledge of how to warm up prior to skating, and teach you moves to enhance your techniques on the ice.

BISC Members: £35
Non-Members: £45

The camp will be led by Bradford Ice Skating coaches Franki Wilson and Anya Morrill.

More activities to be announced very soon!

Has anyone found any crash pants from the rink in the past week? If so please drop a message so we can reunite them with the owner.

Over recent weeks, we have been made aware of online posts and messages involving Bradford Ice Skating Club members that fall below the expected standards of behaviour.

As outlined in our Code of Conduct (in particular sections 2 & 3), all members represent Bradford Ice Skating Club at all times, including outside club ice sessions and on social media. We kindly request that all members uphold respectful and positive behaviours with each other and fellow skaters.

The well-being and safety of every skater remains our priority. Behaviour that impacts the experience of others, whether at the rink or online, will be addressed in line with our safeguarding procedures. We ask all members, parents and carers to take responsibility for how they communicate and interact across all platforms, and to communicate the Code of Conduct with their skaters.

We also want to reinforce the appropriate use of social media during club ice sessions:
- Live streaming to platforms such as TikTok must not take place during club ice.
- Photos and videos should be taken with care, ensuring other skaters are not captured unless they have media permissions.

We appreciate that social media is widely used, particularly by our young people, however as part of maintaining a positive club environment, we encourage parents and carers to stay engaged with their child’s online activity and to make use of any settings that help keep them safe.

If you have any concerns or would like advice, please speak with our Club Welfare Officers:
Sarah Crabtree
Nicola Butterfield

Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a respectful and safe club community.
