Leeds Athletic 4-5 Wibsey u12 Blues

We travelled to Div 4 champions Leeds Athletic on Sunday with no subs.

After a mini break of a few weekends, It was good to be able to focus fully on 9 players and give them in-game advice and pointers, that each and every one of them took onboard and displayed excellently.

We tweaked the new formation to suit our available players. We started the faster brighter of the teams and looked almost comfortable at half time. There were a few times we got caught on the break away, but their chances didnt come to anything. Our Goals coming from Conor, Zai and Finn with a late run to head in.

Second half we continued to get the chances but didnt convert. A 10 minute wobble saw us pegged back to 3-3. But the boys found an extra gear to go and take the lead 2 times to see the game out. Finn with a great strike 👏
