We are delighted to announce a new sponsorship deal with Citrus Nightclub for the next two seasons!

As you may have seen already, Citrus are front and centre of our brilliant new light jerseys!

It builds on the strong relationship already developed with their sister Bradford nightclub, The Lemon Shed who came on board to sponsor the Bulldogs last season.

And, as you can see from the video above, some of our Bulldogs’ NIHL teams threw some shapes and grooves on the dancefloor when they popped down to the club recently!

Nathan Musson, co-owner of Citrus, said the company was keen to continue their support of local sport and had enjoyed a great relationship with the Bulldogs already through The Lemon Shed affiliation.

He said: “Supporting local clubs is something we are keen to continue being involved in and we know the Bulldogs is an organisation that we wanted to get behind.”

There were fun and games galore down at The Pound on Sunday as it was the turn of our Bulldogs Under-10s to play host for their latest X-ice Jamboree!

Kingston Ice Hockey Club Leeds Junior Knights and Whitley Bay Junior Ice Hockey Club were the visitors, taking part in a series of games for the next generation of youngsters - helping them hone their skills and further their development - as well as have loads of fun!

The Bulldogs faced six games in all - winning three and losing three - with a number of players rippling the back of a net throughout, including Robson Bagott, Arnie Evans, Sam Fako, Elsie Fowler, Darian Arman, Rory Holland, Zak Barnett, Ronnie Fowler and Oscar Stockton.

A great time was had by all at Bradford Ice Arena and we thank Whitley, Kingston and Leeds for helping make it such an enjoyable day for all the kids - plenty of smiles and no doubt plenty of tired legs and bodies in all four teams!

Shout out to Elsie Fowler, who took home the Bulldogs’ Spirit of the Game award!

Big shout out to our Under-10s Ronnie Fowler who picked up the Bulldogs' MVP award at last week's X-ice Jamboree at Billingham Stars Junior Ice Hockey !

Great work, Ronnie - along with fellow Bulldogs Henry Butler and Zac Barnett who also took to the ice!

There was even time to get an ice cream before the journey home!

JUNIOR REVIEW

Bulldogs’ Under-14s built on an already impressive start to their Division Two North campaign when they recorded their first win of the season - a 5-3 victory at home over Leeds Junior Knights B.

Alexander Szwajcar led the way with a hat-trick while captain Alfie McAlinden weighed in with a pair of goals, Stephen Abdy (2) and Teddy Barnett getting on the board with the assists, while netminder Jackson Livingstone stood tall when turning away 21 of the 24 shots on his goal.

Alex picked up the Bulldogs’ Spirit of the Game puck, while Alfie was chosen as the Hardest Worker Helmet.

Earlier in the day, the Under-12s took on Nottingham IHC in an entertaining game that was effectively decided in the third period.

The Bulldogs were very much in the game after two periods, trailing 4-2 with goals from Robson Bagott and Finley Mardell.

But the visitors pulled clear in the third period to run away 12-3 winners, Bagott doubling his tally and taking the team’s Spirit of the Game award, while Oliver Toney took home the Hardest Worker Helmet.

On what was a busy Saturday, the Under-16s hit the road to North Wales to take on Deeside Dragons Juniors, coming out on the wrong end of a highly competitive seven-goal thriller.

Trailing 1-0 after the first period, two strikes from Thomas Lee ensured the Bulldogs enjoyed parity with their hosts in the second period to trail 3-2 going into the third.

Louis Brook then equalised soon after the restart but a 39th-minute strike from Theo Yates ensured the points went to the home team.

Thomas Lee picked up the Bulldogs’ Spirit of the Game award.

On Sunday, the Under-19s found it tough going when they travelled to Whitley Bay, going down 12-0.

After establishing a 5-0 lead, the hosts were able to close the game out, with Under-16s netminder Jack Clarke picking up the team’s Spirit of the Game award.

Even though she wasn’t able to celebrate a Bulldogs victory against Sheffield Scimitars NIHL2 on Sunday, Elsie - one of our biggest fans - still had a great time down at The Pound!

She got to meet the players beforehand and was presented with a signed Bulldogs jersey by Bulldogs’ Connor Medley and Josh Stockton.

Then, afterwards, she helped out presenting the MVP awards before having her picture taken with the whole Bulldogs team!
