🚨 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦! 🚨

We are delighted to announce that goaltender 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿 will be joining us for the 2026-27 NIHL North Two season!

Alex makes the step up from rec hockey as he looks to develop his game in a competitive and supportive environment, working alongside Sam Bolwell and netminding coach, Matt Millhench.

We are excited to have him on board after impressing so much during the recent player trials and subsequent training sessions.

On his signing for the Bulldogs, Alex said: “I’m really excited to join such an experienced group to take the next step in my hockey journey.

“I’m looking forward to pushing myself, developing my game and doing everything I can to help the team achieve our goal of reaching the playoffs this season.”

Player-coach Dave Williams added: “We are really pleased to have Alex on board with us this season.

“It’s great to be able to give him the opportunity to develop at this level while working alongside and learning from more experienced netminders.

“This season will be about development, hard work and learning. Alex will have to work for his opportunities, take something from every training session and continue developing all aspects of his game.”

We are looking to expand our team of 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗦 and spread the workload for NIHL North Two home games during the 2026-27 campaign?

We are looking for the following:

🔴 Ticket desk/match night entrance
🟡 Chuck-a-Puck
⚫️ Goal judges
⚪️ Game clock

We can provide easy-to-follow training and supervision for each role and it can also lead to other match night volunteer roles in the future.

Every time you do a match night role, you are guaranteed free entry to the game as well as some tasty refreshments from the Bradford Ice Arena cafe!

Dan has been a part of Bulldogs hockey for more than 12 years and impressed greatly when stepping up for Bradford Bulldogs NIHL last season 💪

Once again we wanted to highlight two of our Pathway Players;

Forward LEO SIMPSON is joining the Sharks from Sheffield and we are looking forward to a solid pathway performance in 26/27.

D-Man DAN JOHNS takes to the ice for the Sharks after an early career with Bradford. We firmly believe he will fit in with our ethos, and can’t wait to his icing for 26/27.

Both players have the ability to add depth to our U19 and Div2 teams and we are exciting to watch their growth.

🚨 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦! 🚨

We are pleased to confirm that ‘birthday boy’ 𝗧𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 will return for the 2026-27 NIHL North Two campaign!

Having aged out of Under-19s at the end of last season, Tyler will now concentrate solely on continuing to make a big impact for the senior team going forward.

It will be his third season in NIHL North Two having made his senior debut in 24-25, since when he has gone on to play a key role in the line-up.

Ahead of his third campaign in a Bulldogs’ jersey, Tyler 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝟵 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 🎂 said: “I am delighted to be back with the Bulldogs this season as a full-time senior player and this enables me to give my full focus and commitment to the team.

“I am excited about playing with some more experienced players and gaining valuable knowledge from them, which will help me improve my game.”

Player-coach Dave Williams is looking forward to seeing how Tyler can develop over the coming months, adding: “Tyler brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the team.

“He works hard every shift, competes well and is keen to learn and improve. His speed is a real asset and gives him the ability to create opportunities and put pressure on the defensive zone.

“He is now a senior player so this season will be an important opportunity for him to take another step forward and have a bigger impact on the team and take his game to the next level.”

We are delighted to announce the return of defenceman 𝗘𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 for the 2026-27 NIHL North Two campaign!

Eden’s first full season as a Bulldog in 25-26 was hampered by injury and he returns for the coming campaign eager to make up for lost time.

The 31-year-old has been a positive influence both on and off the ice since joining from Kingston Sharks towards the end of 24-25 and is expected to continue doing that as we make a concerted push for the play-offs.

On signing up for another year of Bulldogs’ hockey, Eden said: “I’m excited to be back for another year.

“Last year was difficult for the team and it didn’t finish how we wanted. There is a different buzz about the team this year, the coaching team have done a lot of work behind the scenes and I’m sure the fruits of their labour will be seen this year.”

Player-coach Dave Williams, added: “Eden’s size and physical presence will be very important for us this season. We will again be looking to him to be a part of helping us become a stronger and more defensive unit.

“Unfortunately, he missed a number of games through injury last season so it will be great to see him back fit again and I'm confident he will play a big role for us and help us move forward this season.”
