After a wet morning and some scrapping about for a pitch due to water logging, we managed to keep the game on.

The boys were on fire, playing some absolute silky stuff despite the state of the muddy pitch and the beautiful November weather.

Great start to life on our new home pitch with a 5-0 victory over local rivals

Far from our best performance and a sloppy first half left us 1-0 down at half time.

A great direct freekick from brought us level and was shortly followed by a beautiful goal by the man himself to put us on top.

A bit of complacency and a more than questionable ref led to us conceding 3 and being 4-2 down.

The boys really dug deep and up pops again to bring it back to 4-3 with 5 minutes to go. Cue tactical decision to put CB up front and with 30 seconds on the pitch he screams one into the onion bag 😂👏🏼

Good minutes in the tank in our 5th of 8 pre season games - we go again Sunday against Salts Sunday Reserves… .t99 & got a point to prove 😎
