Taming the 20 ounces..
Tulip doesn’t like heat, so this was done over the whole morning little by little.

Turning out some banging playing cues recently, this is fantastic. 20oz to 19oz and should end up 18.5oz when fully sanded and joint added. Such a good hitter 😊
Forgot how much I dislike working wit thuya burr.. enough zap thin CA to knock out a horse and Dremel on slow to take in the trailing edge 😮💨

Another into testing…
Hybrid cue 9mm, not sure if this will be pool or snooker yet? 🤔

A few more than might be hitting balls before the bank holiday weekend is out! The one in the middle is one of two 18” butt cues which can be up to 60” if anyone knows anyone after a long cue. It’ll be a mannock style cue with a thuya front splice.

Hate 3/4 cues, but here I am surrounded by ’em like they’re lining up for auditions.
Six made the cut - four at 58” jointed at 16” already tapered smooth, two stretching up to 60” joined at 18” still waiting their turn.
Once they’re done, I can finally get back to making proper cues… the ones that actually get my pulse up.
Designs waiting for inspiration - tease me right and I’ll deliver something filthy 👀🪵🔥
