Whilst the season has come to an end, results haven't always reflected the hard work, commitment, and determination shown by the Tyersal Ladies. We're proud of every player and grateful for all the support throughout the season ⚽️❤️

Yesterday, Tyersal Ladies travelled to face Liversedge in the final match of the season and unfortunately fell to a 5-0 defeat.

While the scoreline doesn't reflect the performance on the pitch, the ladies can be proud of the effort and quality they showed throughout. With several players having to fill unfamiliar positions, no substitutes available, and challenging hot conditions, the team continued to work hard and play some excellent football.

Despite the result, there were plenty of positives to take from the game, with the squad showing great determination, teamwork and resilience right until the final whistle.

🌟 Players of the Match: Cath (proudly sponsored by Philip Sheard) who was outstanding in defence. She was solid throughout, produced some crucial moments to keep us in the game, and never stopped working from the first whistle to the last.

Liversedge were a great side to play against and showed quality throughout the game. We wish them all the best for the future 👏🏼⚽️

In a spirited display, the team faced the league leaders and put up a valiant effort, but ultimately succumbed to a challenging 10-0 defeat.

Player of the match was Naomi, who showcased her exceptional goalkeeping skills with a series of remarkable saves that kept the team in contention for much of the game. Despite her outstanding performance, the opposing team proved too quick and clinical in their attacking play, taking advantage of their opportunities to secure the win.

The team showed great determination and resilience, but the opposition's pace and precision were pivotal in determining the final outcome. With lessons learned and the team's spirit intact, we will look to bounce back stronger in the next fixture.

Despite being down to just 10 players, Tyersal Ladies put in a determined performance at home against Durkar Devils on Sunday. The ladies took every opportunity they could and managed to score five goals despite the defeat. There was some excellent link-up play between Becca, Ella, and Tor, with strong passing and movement throughout the game. The team showed great resilience and kept fighting right until the final whistle.
