Itโ€™s been a long time since Wibsey Warriors have been on a Grand Final tripโ€ฆ and what a day it was! ๐Ÿ™Œ

From setting off together, to the laughs, the atmosphere and making memories along the way, it was a fantastic day for everyone involved.

Hereโ€™s a little insight into what was a brilliant day for our players, coaches, parents and families. Days like this are about so much more than rugby, theyโ€™re about bringing everyone together and giving our youngsters memories theyโ€™ll hopefully carry with them for years to come. ๐Ÿ‰โค๏ธ

And for us as a club, it marks another

Weโ€™re incredibly proud of how far weโ€™ve come, proud of every youngster who pulls on a Wibsey Warriors shirt, and grateful to every coach, volunteer, parent and supporter who is helping us build something special again.

The Warriors are growing. The junior section is back. And weโ€™re only just getting started! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‰

Hereโ€™s to many more days like thisโ€ฆ

Our u15 girls this afternoon lost a good battle with Keighley Albion in the Bradford & Keighley Cup, like us, they are development team growing each week and itโ€™s great to see so many more girls getting into the sport!

For the game, it was an even contest until just before the break where the score was 10-4, we conceded a try then straight from the kick off, we unfortunately conceded again from a great run down the wing from their player of the match!

Our girls re-grouped and proceeded to hold out Keighley for the full second half until the last play of the game. Itโ€™s great progress for the girls and we look forward to their progress next year as we wind down for the off season.

Itโ€™s only the beginning for our girls who will come back bigger & stronger next year! ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿซถ
