🏆 J.E. GENT SCRATCH CUP 2026 – CHAMPION CROWNED! 🏆

Huge congratulations to Lee Yaxley, our new J.E. Gent Scratch Cup champion for 2026! ⛳

Lee sat 4 shots off the lead after an opening round of 77, but produced a brilliant 74 today to storm through the field and take the title with a two-round total of 151 – winning by 2 shots. What a way to finish! 👏

🥈 2nd: Danny Devaney – 153 (also carding a 74 today)

We’re looking for a friendly, confident individual to join the team here at Bradford Moor Golf Club! ⛳🏌️

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our bar team on a casual basis, working flexible shifts as and when needed. You’ll be serving our brilliant members and guests in a welcoming, sociable environment — no two days are the same!

Whether you’re pouring pints after a round of golf, helping set up for one of our many events, or simply making sure our members feel at home — you’ll play a big part in what makes Bradford Moor such a great place to be. 🏆

We’re looking to fill this position ASAP, so if you’re available at short notice, we’d love to hear from you!

What we’re looking for:

✅ Aged 18 or over

✅ Flexible with shift patterns (including evenings & weekends)

✅ Confident & outgoing

✅ Happy to work alone or as part of a team

✅ Some bar experience required

In return, you’ll be joining a friendly, tight-knit team at one of Bradford’s most established and well-loved golf clubs, with a great atmosphere and a membership that genuinely appreciates the people who look after them. 🤝

🏆 BIG NEWS FROM NORTHCLIFFE! 🏆

Huge congratulations to Bradford Moor member Carl Aaron on winning the Clubmans Championship at Northcliffe Golf Club! ⛳

Carl produced a brilliant 78 gross to take the title by 2 shots — battling tough, windy conditions, fast & firm greens, and some seriously tricky pin positions all day. A fantastic performance under real pressure!

And a great showing for the club all round, with Club Captain Tom Wood finishing 4th, just 3 shots back.

What a night! Our Scratch Team travelled to Calverley last night and battled through some seriously challenging conditions to win 4-2 away, sealing our promotion to Division 2! 👏⛳

Massive congratulations to every single player who’s pulled on the BMGC shirt this season - the commitment and quality has been outstanding from start to finish.

A special mention has to go to Iain Walker, who has been an absolute machine all season, dropping just 3 points in the entire campaign 🔥 Incredible consistency.

We also can’t let this moment pass without a huge shout out to our Honorary Scratch Team member, Simon 😂 The man has been at nearly every single match this season, and we all know his main job has been keeping Buzz in check! Legend.

Yorkshire Amateur Championships ⛳

Two Bradford Moor members flew the flag in the first two days of the Yorkshire Amateur!

Iain Walker got things underway with a respectable 77 on day 1, but a tougher day 2 (83) meant he narrowly missed the cut for day 3. Great effort, Iain! 👏

New man on the scene Andy Busfield has been the standout performer, shooting an impressive 73 on day 1 followed by a 76 on day 2 — comfortably making the cut for day 3! 🙌

Andy’s got 36 holes to play today, so let’s get behind him and show our support! Come on Andy! 🏌️‍👏🏻👏🏻
