๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐: Hanover CC vs. White Rose CC
After last weekโs defeat, Hanover CC were looking to bounce back and put things right as they welcomed White Rose CC.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first on a tricky wicket, Hanover got off to the worst possible start, losing early wickets to find themselves struggling at 20-3. Awais Khan and Saad then steadied the innings with a crucial partnership, absorbing the pressure and rebuilding the innings. Awais made a valuable 30 before Saad followed shortly after for 32.
With the innings finely balanced, Numan and Uzair combined for another important partnership, guiding Hanover towards a competitive total. The pair helped take the score to 149 before late wickets fell, with Hanover eventually bowled out for 157 in the final over of the innings.
Defending 157, Hanover made the perfect start with the ball. Numan struck twice early on, while Babar also chipped in with a wicket as White Rose were reduced to 13-3 and firmly on the back foot.
However, a match-winning partnership of 149 between Bhushan and Ridham turned the game on its head. Despite Hanoverโs strong start, the pair batted superbly to take control of the chase and guide White Rose to victory.
While the result didnโt go Hanoverโs way, there were plenty of positives to take from the fight shown with both bat and ball on a difficult wicket.

๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐: Hanover CC vs. AK Eagles CC
On a sunny day at a busy Roberts Park, Hanover CC produced another dominant all-round display to secure a convincing 94-run victory over AK Eagles CC, strengthening their position near the top of the table after 5 games.
Batting first, Hanover openers Hamdaan and Saad got the innings off to a flying start with a superb 102-run partnership. Hamdaan fell for 44, which sparked a collapse as Hanover slipped to 114-2 and then 115-3 after Saad was dismissed shortly after his excellent 52. The middle order then struggled further, falling to 141-7, before Awais Khan and Mohammad Awais held their nerve with a crucial partnership to drag Hanover up to a competitive 196 all out.
In reply, AK Eagles began positively, putting early pressure on the bowlers with a strong start in the powerplay. Waqas Khan made the breakthrough to break the opening stand, which triggered a collapse as Hanover took control of the game.
The spinners then dominated proceedings, with Shakul producing a match-winning spell of 9 overs, 2 maidens, 23 runs and 5 wickets. He was superbly supported by Zain (2-22) and Awais Khan (2-7), as AK Eagles were bowled out for 102.
A complete team performance to maintain momentum in the league, with Hanover now sitting 2nd after 5 games ๐ช๐
Big thank you to all the supporters who came down to Roberts Park on a sunny day and backed the boys throughout ๐๐ Your support makes a massive difference and we appreciate it every game!

Hanover CC booked their place into the next round of the Leeds Fit Out & Adilco Cup with an excellent all-round performance against Diamond CC in a rain-reduced 25-over clash.
After losing the toss and being put into bat on a difficult wicket, Hanover struggled early on and found themselves in trouble at 31-4 after losing the top order cheaply. With conditions making batting difficult, Numan and Awais steadied the innings with a crucial partnership, rotating the strike well and rebuilding the innings patiently.
Following Numanโs dismissal, skipper Zain joined Awais and the pair continued to push Hanover towards a competitive total. Despite the challenging surface, Hanover finished strongly on 157-7 from their 25 overs, with Awais producing a superb knock of 46 before being run out on the final ball of the innings.
In reply, Hanover made the perfect start as Khuzaifa struck with the very first ball of the innings to remove Diamond skipper Sheeraz. Diamond responded with a partnership of 49, but once Zain dismissed Q Haider, the momentum completely shifted.
From there, Hanover tightened the screws brilliantly as wickets continued to fall and the required run rate climbed rapidly. Skipper Zain led from the front with a sensational spell, finishing with outstanding figures of 4-15 from his 5 overs as Diamond CC were restricted to 110-9.
