We progress in the BPCL Bentley Blast after defeating Farsley & Crossflatts yesterday.

The next round will be played on the 28th of June. Venue and opponents tbc

Saturdays Results.

The 1st team fell to defeat against Hanging Heaton by 58 runs. Hanging Heaton posted 268/8 batting first. Asad Raza continued his fine form taking 6/74. Mahleeb Mahmood also took 2/82.

In reply, Hamza Saeed returning from injury showed what a miss he has been scoring 115 from just 93 balls. Hamza blasted seven sixes and ten fours in his innings. Ben Heritage 37 (88) gave good support before falling with the score 116-3.

The second team defeated Pudsey Congs at South View Road. Batting first Adeel Nazir took the game to Pudsey Congs blasting 84 from just 60 balls which consisted of five fours and seven sixes as we posted 176 all out. Tom Hoyle gave good support with a quick fire 22 from 17 balls.

In reply Pudsey collapsed from 47-0 to 109 all out as Ross Monaghan took 5/21 and man of the day Adeel Nazir 4/22.

Congratulations to Hamza Saeed sponsored by Apex Elevated Fitness & Wellness for his maiden East Bierley CC 100 against Hanging Heaton yesterday.

Hamza's 115 came from 93 balls containing 10 fours and 7 sixes.

Congrats to Asad Raza Raza who took 6-74 in yesterday’s defat against Hanging Heaton.
It took his tally to 27 wickets in the league.

After victory in the opening game against Farsley the 1st team are currently up against Crossflatts.

Asad Raza’s 5-16 kept Farsley to 141 before Nate Holdsworth 51 (37) and Mahleeb Mahmood 40no (32) steered us to victory.

They had a great session in the sunshine working on their throwing and catching followed by a fun game to finish which the girls including Phoebe and Emma loved and could have continued all night 🤩🏏🤩🏏

The 1st team are delighted to welcome back Hamza Saeed from injury for the trip to Hanging Heaton.

The 2nd team are suffering with a couple of injuries to keeper Sam Wilby and Dan Abbott and see a few changes.
