Good morning everyone… IT’S BEEN A WHILE 🤪 🦠

Okay so it has been the wildest 18 months and it’s safe to say I wasn’t aware of how anything worked or what was going to happen.

However, WE’VE GOT A REOPENING DATE!

WEDNESDAY 15th SEPTEMBER 2021

Due to certain restrictions still in place at St Hughes we will restart with just 2 classes on a Wednesday.

Junior Dance (6-10 years): 6-7pm
Senior Dance (11 - 16 years): 7-8pm

£5 per class!

These classes will be a range of styles but more importantly they’ll be really fun!

If you have sent any emails/messages I don’t have access to them so I’m so sorry that I haven’t replied!

THAT’S A WRAP! 🎥 5678 weeks of online classes came to an end this morning for summer a couple of weeks early to ensure I can properly prepare for ‘hopefully’ a September opening! I have had so much fun turning my living room (and washing/drying room) into a dance studio and seeing all my dancer’s faces on screen working so hard. It’s been a new challenge teaching this way but it was made all the more easier having such hardworking dancers! I can’t wait to return in September so some kind of normality and work towards that big show! 🌟 Thank you all for your continued support throughout this time ❤️ Please stay safe and have the best summer ever! Hi everyone,

I’ve said all along that I will close only when the schools close, this news came yesterday. Therefore I have had to make the incredibly hard and upsetting decision to close our doors until the easter holidays in the first instance.

Due to low numbers of dancers in last night’s class I have decided to make this decision with immediate effect - meaning, regrettably, Friday and Saturday classes will not run.

This is not a decision that I have taken lightly, and I am very upset having to write this, however, I must put the health and needs of all of our families and the other people that use the hall, lots of which are our older generation, as a priority.

I am unbelievably grateful for everyone’s support and lovely words in this difficult time. I am speaking with other dance school owners across the country and we are talking about how to work online virtual classes, I will keep everyone up to date with this as soon as I have worked it all out.

I’ll be sending round further emails with more information this evening.

Please everyone stay safe, and look after our vulnerable people.

Oh.... and wash those damn hands! ❤️❤️❤️

During these stressful times I just want to reassure everyone on our plans for classes In the near future. As it stands we are currently STILL OPEN AS NORMAL, however if the schools decide to close I will make the hard but important decision to close also. However until then I cannot stress enough how important it is the dancers arrive to classes and wash their hands. Wash their hands during breaks. Wash their hands at the end of classes. It is also vital that ALL DANCERS bring their OWN WATER BOTTLES. Everyone must have a drink with them and no one should share anything. I will keep everyone updated day by day. Just to make everyone aware, we are staying completely open regarding Corona Virus, and we will continue to run classes as normal unless advised otherwise from Public Health.

I have sanitiser in class and all students are always encouraged to keep up with hygiene in classes.
