📢 AN UPDATE FROM FULL FACE CRICKET 📢

It’s been a little while since our last post — all the way back in February — so we wanted to share a quick update on what’s been happening here at Full Face Cricket.

In May, our team and the wider cricketing community were deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our Co-Founder, Andrew “Fridge” Oldroyd. Andy was a man of immense passion for the game — so much so that those closest to him often joked that his true home was his beloved cricket club, Great Horton Park Chapel Cricket Club. He was not only a driving force behind Full Face but also a devoted family man and a friend to so many. His presence is deeply missed.

In July, alongside Richard and Andy’s wife Sarah, we welcomed David and Vicky Brook to the Full Face team. Together, we’re committed to continuing Andy’s legacy — building a brand that’s honest, respected, and delivers premium cricket equipment to players of all ages.

With this new chapter, we’ve been hard at work refining our product range and expanding into junior cricket. We’re also proud to announce new partnerships with Masuri and PayntrCricket, allowing us to offer even more high-quality, performance-driven gear — all from one trusted source.

To support this growth, we’ve also built a brand-new website to give our customers a smoother, more enjoyable shopping experience.

Now, as we head into the 2026 season, we’re excited to share that our new site is live, and fresh product ranges are arriving soon — just in time for pre-season!

We are brand new to the market in 2025, and aim to provide league cricketers with the very best bat and soft padding at affordable prices.

We import our bats from the bat manufacturing capital of India, made and shaped to our own specifications by craftsmen with decades of experience, and they are the perfect blend of pick up, profile, power and style for English conditions.

We are owned and run by two local league cricketers with over 60 years playing experience between us, so we like to think we know what we are looking for in products which supply the best value for money available.
