The Bradford Rams believe in making the most of your time at University. Whether it’s meeting great characters, the camaraderie of a close team, a competitive sporting environment, or just having the best social events possible, we offer it all. The Rams offer a healthy balance between competitive and social rugby with the 1st XV and the 2nd XV/ Development squad and as always we’re looking to tak
e on as many lads as possible this year. So if you’ve never picked up an egg-shaped ball before or are destined to be the next England callup we welcome you with open arms. After gaining promotion the previous season and finishing fourth this year, we’ve still have managed to defeat our arch rivals Huddersfield during Varsity and Bradford Storm during Crosscodes (Annual Memorial game where one half is League and another is Union). But we’re still looking to push for silverware this season. Usual Training times are Monday evenings between 6-8 and Friday evenings at the same time for a skills/ fitness session, with matches being played on Wednesday. New this year is the 02 Touch league on Wednesdays with mixed, men’s and social leagues for those of you who want to ease into rugby
After matches the club comes together to celebrate (or commiserate) the match day events with a fair few beverages before meeting the other sports clubs for a night out So if you fancy trying out a fantastic team sport please don’t hesitate to get involved.
