Adwalton Under 11's

Good luck to all are players who are sitting there sats this week .

A unlucky start to the season with a loss but plenty of positives . Not losing many wickets and some good running between Joesph and Lucas and Matthew and Harrison which as the season progresses will all lead to more runs . Was nice to see the bowling straight with not many wides too and a good day will give us wickets 😁. But a big rap goes to Charlie Jackson who first hard ball game was outstanding not losing a wicket and a great job as wicket keeper . All in all looking forward to a good season .

Last night saw the team travel to Birstall and after a very hard winter came up against a good all round opposition .some good fielding helped us and the stand out was Harry Morris who made some good stops to save what was all ready a big total . Birstall scored 316 -1 wicket taken by Matthew Lindsay.Batting all the team did well and stuck in on what was a tough night for them, the wickets fell but all the team kept there heads up. Stand out batsman Max Addinhall hit what was shot of the day with a cracking cover drive .Twelve outs left us with a total 167 .

I will aim to get a message out at the beginning the week with location details, times etc so you all have plenty of time to let us know availability. Lucy
