Hi everyone, hope you're all good and having a great week so far.
Here are 4 things that you can be doing in your daily life to help you stay on track and to feel your best self.
1. Daily steps - if you're currently not hitting 10k steps thats ok, but try to aim for 2k more than you currently do and build it up over time to 10k.
This could be 20 minutes of walking a day including the school run, a walk with your friend or furry friend, parking further away from the shops or doing more chores at home.
2. Food - you want to be aiming for 1 source of macronutrient - protein , carbohydrates and healthy fats with every meal. You also want to be filling your plates with fruits & veggies for fibre and this will also make your plates look colourful and delicious.
3. Strength train - you want to be aiming for at least 3 sessions a week of lifting weights or using your own bodyweight. At home, in the gym or in our studio building muscle and strength is SO important for every day life and longevity!
4. Meal plan & prep - the more you can plan your meals ahead the better you will stay on track. This includes going out for meals with family or friends. If you know you are going out thats ok but you can work your meals around it before & after to stay on track whilst enjoying the meal out!
Hopefully these tips help you to stay focused for the rest of the year. But if you need more personal help then get in touch and lets discuss your own health & fitness goals and how we can help you!
