IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THE CURRENT RUMOUR IS WE ARE CLOSING .
THIS IS UNTRUE BUT WE ARE MAKING CHANGES TO IMPROVE THE FITNESS STUDIO WHICH IS WHY WE ARE HAVING SUBSTANTIAL BUILDING WORK CARRIED OUT TO UTILISE SPACE WHICH IS CURRENTLY UNUSED.

WE APPRECIATE THE UPHEAVAL THIS IS CAUSING BUT AIM FOR COMPLETION IN THE NEXT FEW WEEEKS AND WE DO APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE

🛑 THE WEIGHTS ROOM WILL BE MOVED INTO WHAT WAS THE STUDIO . THIS AREA IS WIDER AND MORE SUITABLE AND THE CURRENT WEIGHTS ROOM WILL NO LONGER BE IN SERVICE .

🛑SPINNING ROOM WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR USE

It has come to our attention that various members who are in arrears/ cancelled membership are still trying to gain access with paying members . This is an insult to paying members and against our insurance . In the event of a fire they would be unaccounted for as no fob access entry recorded

I WILL MAKE IT VERY VERY CLEAR AGAIN!!

🛑IT CLEARLY SAYS ON THE FRONT DOOR DO NOT ALLOW ENTRY TO ANYONE WITHOUT A FOB.
THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ANYONE BANGING ON THE WINDOW .

🛑 ANYONE WHO MISSES A PAYMENT WILL BE DISABLED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND IF PAYMENR IS STILL NOT MADE AFTER 14 DAYS A REACTIVATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED .

🛑ANYONE LETTING MEMBERS IN WITHOUT A FOB WILL FACE A MONTHS BAN AND IF IT CONTINUES THOSE MEMBERS WILL FACE A LIFE TIME BAN FROM THE FITNESS STUDIO.

🛑ANY MEMBER WHO LEAVES OWING FEES WILL ALSO FACE A LIFETIME BAN

🛑NEW CAMERAS ARE TO BE INSTALLED WITH VOICE ACTIVATION AND WE WILL USE THEM .

🛑EVEN IF YOU ARE ATTENDING WITH ANOTHER GYM MEMBER, BOTH USERS MUST FOB IN TO REGISTER ENTRY

The minority are being completely disrespectful to the majority but be reassured the situation is in hand .

WE WILL BE INSTALLING MORE CAMERAS TO MONITOR

AS A REMINDER THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY

♦️ NO WORK BOOTS, MUDDY TRAINERS .

♦️APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR ONLY . THIS INCLUDES NO CROCS OR FLIP FLOPS DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY , ANYONE FOUND TO BE WEARING THEM IN THE GYM WILL BE UNABLE TO WORKOUT

♦️ NEW BENCHES ARE DUE TO BE DELIVERED , BENCHES ARE NOT TO BE USED TO WALK ON AND OFF WE HAVE BLOCKS FOR THIS PURPOSE

♦️ANYONE FOUND TO BE DISRESPECTING THE GYM , THE EQUIPMENT OR LEAVING MUD THROUGH THE GYM WILL BE SUBJECT TO A WEEKS BAN

THE LEG CURL MACHINE HAS BEEN FIXED AND IS BACK IN USE .

Please be aware we try our best from report to getting equipment fixed as soon as possible and are still awaiting a response from the technician we contacted with regards to fixing it , luckily we know someone who was able to fix the issue and lessen the inconvenience .

Hi guys apparently there is a planned power cut we were unaware of today between 1 and 3pm 🙄 The gym should be back to normal after 3pm

Hello you lovely people !!

Just a quick update with regards to memberahips.

WE ARE FULL !!

We are now full and operating a waiting list . Why ?

We now have 240 members and our aim has always been to create a space that is both enjoyable to workout and without long waits for equipment and I am proud to say we have achieved this. The door activation system means we can monitor and assess popular usage times and by doing this the decision was to cap numbers and achieve our plan.
Since 2018 when we opened I am proud to say we survived and expanded during covid, won three awards and now have A WAITING LIST WITH 58 AWAITING A MEMBERSHIP OPPERTUNITY .
We are a family run small business, all playing our part and for those who don't know my lovely mother in law is the new cleaner and the feedback has been immense , keeping us sparkly clean!!
Friendships have been formed, goals achieved and I am proud to say many "newbies " to the gym environment are loving a new form of exercise .
This year will see us expand again as plans are in operation later on in the year to give you more space , redecorate and more equipment .

Sorry about the long post but please take the time to read.

Over the past few weeks we have had frequent incidences of members allowing non members entry to use the gym, this is both disrespectful, unacceptable and an insult to other members who respectfully pay every month. It is also against our insurance policy to have people using the gym without a completed medical par Q form .
We have already caught and terminated memberships due to this activity and it’s a lifelong ban.
Members have also been issued with warning and one membership terminated for leaving equipment out , again disrespectful of other gym members and our cleaners .

UPDATES
‼️ We have a new cleaner who is also a family member and I have to say making a fantastic job of keeping the gym shining ! Thankyou Christine ❤️

‼️The waiting list is back in operation with over 20 on the list . We cap the numbers to reduce overcrowding and cues for equipment.

‼️ The new treadmill pad has been ordered , so will be fixed soon.

Finally just a reminder we are a small family run gym who work hard to create a safe, enjoyable space to exercise, regardless of ability. With over 220 members we have created acommunity who supports one another , a space to feel confident and supported . We maybe a 24hr unmanned gym but we do work hard behind the scenes and have eyes and ears to ensure everyone’s safety .

‼️PROTEIN SHAKE EMPTIED INTO THE OVERFLOW ON THE WATER DISPENSER

‼️ FULL WATER CUPS PLACED IN THE BIN

‼️ MISUSE OF MACHINERY AND DROPPING WEIGHTS AND BARBELLS FROM A HEIGHT , THE 25KG DUMBELLS HAVE NOW BEEN DAMAGED DUE TO MISUSE !!! 🤬 IF YOU ARE UNSURE HOW TO USE ASK FOR HELP.
WHEN USING THE MACHINES ENSURE YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH TO LOWER THE WEIGHT STACK WITHOUT IT SLAMMING , IF YOU CANT DO THIS DROP YOUR WEIGHTS !!!

‼️ CLIENTS BEING RUDE TO MYSELF AND OTHERS IN OUR FAMILY

WE HAVE WORKED HARD AND CONTINUE TO WORK HARD TO CREATE A SPACE FOR ALL TO ENJOY EXERCISE BUT WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY OF THE ABOVE , UNFORTUNATELY THIER IS A MINORITY SPOILING FOR THE MAJORITY.

‼️ MISUSE OF EQUIPMENT AND NOT PUTTING EQUIPMENT AWAY . WE WILL BE CHECKING CAMERAS FINDING OUT WHO YOU ARE, YOU WILL BE GIVEN ONE WARNING AND THEN IF YOU CONTINUE YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE TERMINATED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO REJOIN.

‼️ABUSIVE ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS STAFF , MEMBERSHIP WILL BE REFUSED OR TERMINATED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

ENDING ON A POSITIVE NOTE WE NOW HAVE NEW CLEANERS WHO STARTED YESTERDAY AS UNFORTUNATELY WE WERE FULLY AWARE THE LAST ONES WERE NOT TO STANDARD SO THIS HAS NOW BEEN RECTIFIED.
WE ALSO HAVE EXCITING PLANS TO GIVE YOU MORE SPACE WITH AN ADDITIONAL CABLE MACHINE, SLED RUN AND FINALLY THE SHOWER FINISHED .
THIS WILL ALL TAKE PLACE IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, WE WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED WITH PROGRESS.
