Brampton YFC have just won their way to the National Semi Finals of the Young Farmers Drama competition. The cast will perform their successful production ‘Private Peaceful’ this Sunday, 17th March at Brampton Community Centre, 7.30pm. Admittance £5 (Under 16 £2.50) payable on the door. Raffle plus tea, coffee & cakes available. Please note that the performance will contain sudden loud noises and flashing lights. This is an abridged version of the play to fit into the competition time constraints so the performance will only last 1 hour!

Full information about the Stepping Stones Festival Festival and ticket options may be found on the website (www.steppingstonesfestival.co.uk). A week-end ticket provides entry into any event during the Festival, but one day passes are also available now. Tickets for single concerts, music/dance workshops and other venues (Methodist Hall, United Reformed Church and the Mason’s Hall) may be purchased either at the Festival office (in the Community Centre) or on the door. There will also be lots of other free entertainment and ‘happenings’ throughout the week-end so why not come along and be part of it!

Bramptonlocal | Village gets £500 off kitchen in contest
The kitchen came at a discounted price following a competition run by Brampton firm Border Kitchens. This saw village halls in the area compete to have a £2,000 refurbishment of their facilities. Entrants had to submit pictures, explaining how the hall was used and why it deserved the makeover.
