Being the very first wave onto the course means no earlier participants ahead of you and a full hour before the next wave sets off, giving our 10 Mile racers plenty of clear course to push for the fastest possible time.

🔥 THE FIRE JUMP IS COMING BACK. 🔥

Some of our 2026 Gladiators might remember that our Fire Jump had to close during this year’s event after a landslip meant we could no longer safely keep it open.

But we weren’t about to leave it there… 👀

Since the event, we’ve been working on an improved design for 2027, making changes to the obstacle and surrounding area so we can bring one of Gelt Gladiator’s most iconic finishes back better than before.

We know how much you love that final leap through the flames - and we can’t wait to see it back in action at Gelt Gladiator 2027.

Since this year’s event finished, some of our obstacles have had a little more work carried out to make sure they’re in great condition ready for preparations for Gelt Gladiator 2027. 💪

Across the rest of the site, there’s also been plenty of tidying, clearing and restoration work going on behind the scenes.

Most of the Gelt Gladiator course actually disappears after the event!

The majority of our obstacles are dismantled and removed from site completely each year, with only a handful of our flagship obstacles remaining in place all year round.

Then, as next year’s event gets closer… we start building it all over again. 🔨⚔️
