On *Saturday 3rd October 2026,* Leicester will come together for the Lord Mayor of Leicester’s Charity Walk, raising funds for the Lord Mayor’s two chosen charities:
*🧡 Midland Langar Seva Society (MLSS)*
💙 *Leicester Hospitals Charity*
We would love to see individuals, families, schools, colleges, sports clubs, community groups, organisations and businesses joining us.
Whether you walk as an individual, as a family or as part of a team, this is an opportunity to come together, enjoy the day and help make a real difference across our city.

💷 *STEP 2 – MAKE YOUR £50 MINIMUM PARTICIPATION CONTRIBUTION*
The minimum participation contribution is £50 per individual or family.

Your £50 gets you started — but why stop there?
We would love participants, families, schools, clubs, community groups and businesses to use the walk as an opportunity to raise even more for these two fantastic charities.
⭐ *WANT TO CREATE YOUR OWN FUNDRAISING PAGE?*
It’s really simple:
1️⃣ Open the official Charity Walk GiveWheel page:

2️⃣ Scroll down to the section that says “This page is part of an event” and click “View Event”.
3️⃣ This will take you to the official Lord Mayor of Leicester’s Charity Support 2026–2027 GiveWheel page.
4️⃣ Click the purple “Join Event” button.
5️⃣ Sign in or create a GiveWheel account and follow the instructions to set up your own fundraising page.
You can personalise your page with:
• Your own individual, family, team or organisation name
• Your own fundraising target
• A photo or organisation logo
• A short message explaining why you are taking part
Once your page is live, simply share your personal fundraising link with family, friends, colleagues, customers, school communities, club members and your wider networks.
In short:
