On Friday, we were pleased to welcome Kids Inspire to Thorndon Park for a wonderful day of golf, food and fundraising in support of an incredibly important cause.

Kids Inspire is a children’s mental health charity providing free trauma support to children, young people and families who might otherwise struggle to access the help they need.

From an enjoyable day on the course to great food and some fantastic prizes, it was wonderful to see everyone come together to support the charity and help raise funds for the vital work they do.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the day such a success, and to all those who supported such a worthwhile cause.
It was a pleasure to be part of it. ⛳️

It was a pleasure to welcome the UK Seniors Golf Association to Thorndon Park Golf Club for their two-day event earlier this week.

Across both days, we were delighted to see the course in full swing, with players enjoying the challenge of Thorndon Park and the setting of our historic estate.

Day two brought some particularly heavy rain, but it did little to dampen the spirit of the event, with the players continuing to embrace the conditions and enjoy a great couple of days of competitive golf and good company.

Congratulations to the winner, our own member, David Clark, on a fantastic performance. A wonderful achievement on home soil.

Our thanks to everyone who took part, and to the UK Seniors Golf Association for choosing Thorndon Park to host their event.

🌿 Thank a Greenkeeper Day 🌿

Behind every great golf course is a team of people whose work often begins long before the first tee time of the day.

Today, we’re taking the opportunity to recognise and thank our wonderful greenkeeping team for the skill, dedication and care they put into Thorndon Park every single day.

Through early mornings, long days and every kind of weather the British climate can bring, they work tirelessly to ensure our course is maintained to the highest standard — often quietly behind the scenes, but always making a lasting difference.

A golf course is at the heart of every club, and our greenkeepers are very much at the heart of ours.

Thank you for your hard work, your passion and your commitment to Thorndon Park. We truly appreciate everything you do. ⛳️

What a fantastic day we had on Wednesday, welcoming 93 ladies to Thorndon Park Golf Club for our Ladies Open Day! ⛳️

We were delighted to welcome ladies from clubs across the region for a day of competitive golf, great company and plenty of smiles.

Congratulations to our winning pair from Chigwell Golf Club, who finished with an impressive 42 points! 👏

Our Ladies Open is always a wonderful opportunity to showcase Thorndon Park and, most importantly, bring together so many ladies who share a love of the game.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We hope you all had a fantastic time and enjoyed your day with us. 💚

On Thursday, our Ladies Bronze Shield team took on Braintree at The Warren in the final of the Bronze Shield competition.

It was an incredibly close contest, with the result going right down to the very last hole. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be for our ladies on this occasion, but what an achievement to reach the final and represent Thorndon Park so brilliantly throughout the competition.

Congratulations to Braintree on a fantastic match, and commiserations to our team. You should all be incredibly proud of what you have achieved. ❤️

Everyone at Thorndon Park is immensely proud of you, and we look forward going again next year. 🏆
