NEWS: Back in school and getting great numbers at Mount Mountnessing primary with KS2 girls tomorrow @ St Marys first thing and then at Mountnessing at lunchtime prepping up for district events.

NEWS: After an up and down season 2025/26 I reflect on so much good and fun that's happened.
With success on the pitch for my school teams in every event and my first U11 girls schools county cup win.

I realised later that this win played at Aveley FC was my third cup win of my career at that ground!

2011 girls U10 league cup win

2026 U11 girls schools county cup win

All was not plain sailing in this season but departing from Soccer Elite U16 girls after the new year grounded my thoughts and realised that younger footballers listen better and enjoy the game as much as I do.

So it really was the best thing to do and that choice was rewarded when Lordswood Youth FC snapped me up to coach their Tiger Cubs and Wildcats projects.

So always stay positive and positivity and faith you get in return.

NEWS: Girls last event of the year, finishing one place higher than last tournament.

NEWS: St Martins school year 5 girls tournament was the first for the school to hold for year 5 students from primary schools.
The St Mary's girls team lost 1 game from 6 but finished 4th so was the high quality of the event.
Happy with performance and outcome.
The boys won their final and everyone was pleased with the school's overall participation in the event.

NEWS: St Mary's Year 3 girls 4-2 loss at Bentley St Paul's last week wasn't such a terrible result as they played most of Bentley's year 4 girls team, the performance was very good and very encouraging for the future.

Year St Mary's 4 girls played Bentley St Paul's year 4 girls the following week and after 40 minutes played in a very enjoyable encounter the score was 0-0.
Last year we played 2 friendlies against them both games lost 11-1 and 4-2 so progression again going forward. We played an extra 12 minutes which I moved people around and in trying something different Bentley St Paul's grabbed a goal right at the end.
A great time was had by all the girls and after half term the St Mary's year 5 girls will be in action again, firstly at St Martins school event on the 8th.

The season 'in general' is now at an end and I capped it off doing a Coach Development Evening last night at Faversham FC with the Kent FA, doing a development session on 'finishing' the night was brilliant and met some interesting coaches, shared views and got to play in the sessions as well.

NEWS: Year 5 girls win at St Helens primary school.
Pre-tournament friendlies are now underway for my year 5 girls. Starting our friendlies against tournament host's is a great start with Doddinghurst waiting next and a six a side event at St Martins before our yearly final event at St Helens primary school.
