🏔️ NEXT CHALLENGE ON THE CLIMB 🏉

After a few weeks away, the boys are back on the Everest journey — this time heading into the backdrop of the East London skyline to take on Millwall.

The work’s been done, the standards set, and everyone knows this is a tough test as the climb continues. Every step now matters as we push higher up the mountain.

The boys look to start the new year with a bang as they head up the A12 to Witham, carrying momentum and belief in the quest to reach the Everest summit.

A message from our Director of rugby as we head into 2026. As we step into the next phase of what’s set to be a massive year for Old Brentwood’s Rugby Club, I feel an enormous sense of pride in what this club stands for and the people who make it what it is.

This place is more than rugby. It’s early mornings, late nights, shared wins, tough lessons, and a group of people who genuinely care about each other and the badge they represent. Our players, coaches, volunteers, families, supporters and valued sponsors — every single one of you matters and plays a vital role in where we are and where we’re going.

We’ve laid strong foundations, but the journey is far from over. Together, we will keep pushing standards, challenging ourselves and building something we can all be proud to belong to.

🏔️ STATEMENT MADE. SCALP TAKEN. 🟦🟨

The boys have done it — handing Burnham their first defeat of the season and taking down the league’s only unbeaten side.

Plenty of teams have come close, but Old Brentwoods dominated, even while battling through multiple yellow cards. Grit, composure, and belief under pressure — this group held their nerve when it mattered most. 💪

Burnham showed exactly why they were unbeaten — well-coached, organised, and tough — but tonight they fell short of the mighty boys in blue.

Another reminder of why Ashwells is a fortress.
Another huge step up the mountain in the quest to conquer Everest. ⛰️
