Soldier is one of the most genuine cobs you could wish to come across. He is an incredibly versatile horse who is already proving himself to make a true all-rounder. With his willing attitude and kind nature, he has all the attributes to make an outstanding horse for the future.
He has a real old head on young shoulders, taking everything in his stride and remaining sensible and easy in all types of situations. Soldier would make a fantastic family horse, as he is happy to go up and down the gears to suit different riders. He is a laid-back, genuine type who responds from the leg and comes straight back to you when asked.
He has already been out and about, taking part in fun rides, beach rides, arena hires, cross country and pleasure rides, all of which he has taken in his stride ridden by different abilities.
He would also make a valuable addition to a riding school thanks to his sensible attitude and adaptable nature.

Such a willing mare who is such a fun ride. She isn’t your typical dead to the leg cob, she knows her job and isn’t nappy at all. She is very straight forward and fun to ride. George is a really sweet, willing 4-year-old gelding with a lovely nature. He is great to handle around children and has been ridden by a young rider on the lead rein. Of course, he is not a ready-made polished children’s pony just yet, but he has all the potential to become one.

If you’re working with a budget and can’t stretch to a been-there-done-that type, but are happy to put the time and miles into one, you’d struggle to find an easier pony to do it with. The hard work is done - he just needs further polishing off which we are giving someone else the opportunity to do that this week only.

We absolutely appreciate every enquiry, viewing and client that supports our business, however due to an increasing amount of wasted time recently, we kindly ask that a few important things are checked before arranging viewings or agreeing purchases.

Please ensure beforehand that:

-✔️The horse is permitted on your yard
-✔️Transport arrangements are achievable
-✔️Funds are fully in place and ready
-✔️Full permission has been given by any other parties involved

Unfortunately we are finding more situations where horses are being held, other enquiries are turned away and time is reserved for sales that later cannot proceed due to things that ideally should have been confirmed beforehand.

We completely understand that circumstances can genuinely change unexpectedly, which is never a problem at all. However, the points listed above are things that should reasonably be checked prior to arranging viewings or agreeing sales.

As a business, preparing horses, arranging viewings and holding stock all takes considerable time and expense, so moving forward we may ask these questions upfront. This is never intended to come across as rude or pushy - simply to keep the process straightforward and fair for everybody involved.

We’ve been a little quieter over the past week after cutting right back for a short holiday break — going from a full yard of 40 horses to a fraction!

But we are now back and ready to introduce more quality stock as always, with plenty of new arrivals lined up over the coming weeks 👀🏇
