Following the lovely response to my last retreat, I’m really happy to be able to share the details of our next morning retreat - the third one this year. 🧘♀️✨
Sunday 4 October | 10:00–13:00
I'll be trying out a new venue this time - at Bryntirion Community Centre, which I’m really pleased to say has plenty of free parking right outside.
I’ve put together another lovely morning for us, including:
🧘♀️ A relaxing yoga session
🥣 Our favourite granola bowls
🎨 A craft session involving glass decorating
🧘♀️ A glorious meditation to finish the morning
And, as always, everyone who comes along will leave with a little gift to take home. 🎁
The cost is £36, with everything included. All you need to bring on the day is your yoga mat, blanket and water bottle.
This retreat is suitable for complete beginners - no previous experience needed. 🧘🏼♀️

Last day tomorrow of the Uniform donation station at Bryntirion & Laleston Community Centre - LCC. We have had more donations so come along and get what you need for the school term tomorrow 9.30-11am during pantry hours for FREE!

Your Independent Councillors in Bridgend have received the following email from South Wales Police and asked us to raise public awareness:-
⚠️ Rogue Trader Warning – Bridgend Area ⚠️
South Wales Police is urging residents to be vigilant following reports of individuals calling door-to-door in the Bridgend area offering roofing and guttering repairs.
These traders are not believed to be legitimate. They may use flyers and offer services such as fixing guttering, roofs, or carrying out other property repairs, often claiming urgent work is needed.
✅ Do not feel pressured into agreeing to work at your door.
✅ Always check credentials and seek advice from a trusted family member or friend before committing to any repairs.
✅ If you are concerned or have been approached, please make a note of any vehicle details and descriptions of those involved.
📞 Report any suspicious activity to South Wales Police on 101.
🚨 If a crime is in progress or there is an immediate threat, call 999.

⭐️Looking for good company and a friendly afternoon?⭐️
Join us at Bryntirion Community Centre every Friday from 1pm-3:30pm for our Young at Heart group.
A warm and welcoming space to meet new people and enjoy fun activities like Bingo, quizzes, raffles and tombola.
There’s tea, coffee and biscuits, plenty of laughter and a great community spirit.
No need to book just turn up.
