We are pleased to share the term dates for the 2026–2027 academic year at Annie’s Academy of Dance.

Please take note of the dates and half-term breaks below and add them to your calendars:

AUTUMN TERM
Tuesday 9th September – Saturday 12th December 2026
Half Term: Monday 26th October – Sunday 1st November 2026

SPRING TERM
Tuesday 5th January – Saturday 20th March 2027
Half Term: Monday 8th – Sunday 14th February 2027

SUMMER TERM
Tuesday 6th April – Saturday 17th July 2027
Half Term: Monday 31st May – Friday 4th June 2027

Our wonderful dancer Freddie has done something truly amazing, he’s cut and donated his beautiful hair to The Little Princess Trust.

What an incredible and selfless thing to do! Freddie is helping to make real hair wigs for children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.

Please show your support for Freddie and help him raise as much as possible so that The Little Princess Trust can make as many wigs as possible for children who need them.

Well done, Freddie, we couldn’t be prouder of you!

✨A huge congratulations to our beautiful dancers who completed their RAD examinations today and earlier this month! ✨

Stepping into an examination on your own takes incredible courage, confidence, and determination. We are so proud of each and every one of you for embracing the challenge with such grace and professionalism.

We are thrilled to be partnering with Clares House School to offer weekly ballet classes for all students, helping to inspire a love of dance across the school community.

Join us at their Open Day Picnic to meet the team, learn more about our classes, and enjoy a fun-filled day with family and friends. We can’t wait to see you there!

Join us for The Big Picnic on Saturday 13th June from 11am – 2pm!

Pack a picnic and bring your blanket for a family fun day full of activities for grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren. Entry is FREE and everyone is welcome.

Experience a ballet adaption of the Welsh folk tale Daughters of the Sea, at on Sunday 31 May (1pm / 3:30pm) at Griffin Park.

Ballet Cymru and Krystal S. Lowe present the bold adaptation, with music by Kizzy Crawford. Every land has its tale, its origin story if you will. Daughters of the Sea is a tapestry of multilingual spoken word, dynamic dance, and a soul/funk/jazz music fusion. Come with us as we tell the tale of three women from different lands – a warrior, a healer, and a leader – journeying to find new adventures until a surprising foe incites them to stand together and fight to protect the freedom to choose.

🩰A huge congratulations to all of our dancers who took part in their RAD ballet exams last week! 🩰

Our Pre-Primary and Primary pupils, many of whom were experiencing exams for the very first time, took everything in their stride and absolutely loved the experience. We are so proud of the confidence, focus, and enthusiasm shown by every single dancer.

We can’t wait to welcome you into your new grades and look forward to receiving your results!

Up, up, and away …🪁

Our pre-primary dancers took to the stage with Let’s Go Fly a Kite and completely stole the show. Together, we worked as a team to choreograph their special moments. They brought every step to life with such heart and imagination.

From proudly holding their kites to twirling across the stage, they filled the theatre with excitement, wonder, and pure joy.

Just look at those faces , full of focus, happiness, and determination. They made everyone in the audience so incredibly proud.

✨Our supercalifragilistic girls took on Mary Poppins with such energy and determination ✨

Together, we challenged our dancers with fast allegro sections, cannon work, intricate patterns, and beautifully synchronised movement, and they rose to every moment. The focus and commitment in the studio was exceptional, and we celebrated every rehearsal where we powered through that chorus together.

What stood out most was how these dancers thrived as a team, truly showing how uplifting and special it is to be part of ballet with such a wonderful group of people.
