As 2025 comes to a close, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported RMA Sport this year, from athletes and teams to clubs, coaches, and the wider wheelchair sports community.

It’s been an incredible year, and we’re excited to carry that momentum into 2026. We’ve got plenty in the pipeline, so stay tuned.

Please note that Tuesday 23rd will be our last day open before the festive break. We’ll be reopening on Monday 5th January 2026.

Incredible to see Ruby Bishop Wheelchair tennis player speaking up about inclusion in PE. No young person should be sidelined from sport because of disability, lack of understanding, or missing equipment.

At RMA Sport, we see every day how the right chair and the right support can transform a child’s confidence, independence and wellbeing. Ruby’s call for every secondary school to have a sports wheelchair is powerful, and absolutely achievable.

🏆 History Made! England Triumphs in the Ashes!

What a moment for England Wheelchair Rugby League! The team has battled hard and come out on top in Australia, bringing the Ashes home with an unbeaten tour and an incredible 2–0 test series victory! 🏉💪

Their dedication, teamwork, and unstoppable spirit have truly paid off, a shining example of what passion and perseverance can achieve.

A special shoutout to Team Captain Lewis King, who led the charge from a made-to-measure wheelchair built by RMA Sport, showcasing how innovation and performance go hand in hand. 👏

RMA Sport would like to congratulate Tom Coyd, Lewis King, the entire squad, management, and support staff on this historic victory. You’ve done England proud! 🙌

💜 An Inspiring Journey Into Wheelchair Rugby 💜

We’re proud to share the story of 18-year-old Karleigh West , whose life changed dramatically in 2024 after a viral infection. A passionate martial artist and European-level karate competitor, Karleigh suddenly lost the use of her right leg — a heartbreaking challenge that took away the sport she loved.

But her journey didn’t end there. At a disability sports expo, Karleigh discovered wheelchair rugby and joined the incredible Ospreys Wheelchair Rugby Club . Since then, she’s rebuilt her confidence, strength, and competitive spirit — and found a new community where she truly belongs. 🏉✨

Karleigh recently received her bespoke Elite Pro Attack Rugby Wheelchair, fully funded by the generosity of Caudwell Children Charity. We at RMA Sport were honoured to fit and build her new chair, ensuring she has the tools to chase her sporting dreams again.

Karleigh’s story is a powerful reminder of how adaptive sport changes lives — and we’re proud to be part of her journey. 💪
