Bradβs return is a huge boost for the club, and weβre proud to have someone of his calibre helping to develop players of all abilities.
Currently nearing completion of his ECB Level 4 Specialist Coach qualification β the highest level achievable for a professional/international coach β Brad brings elite-level knowledge, experience, and insight to every session.
This is a fantastic opportunity for players to take their game to the next level π

Head Coach Brad Wadlan gives us his thoughts before the start of 2026 season.
Only 15 days before our first friendly against Neath. Maesteg then the following week before heading to West Wales again to face Bronwydd and Llanelli.

It has been a very sad week for Bridgend Town Cricket Club as we share the news of the passing of two former players, Brian Thomas and Patrick Ward.
Both men made lasting contributions to the club and will be fondly remembered by all who knew them.
Our thoughts are with their families and friends at this difficult time. π€

As we get closer to the BTCC Open Invitational Sessions, weβre excited to welcome young cricketers aged 12β19 from all backgrounds and abilities to be part of the journey towards the BTCC Academy 2026 π
Led by Brad Wadlan, Wales Minor Counties Head Coach, the BTCC Academy is built around community, inclusion and opportunity β creating a safe, supportive environment where young players can learn, grow and enjoy the game, while being challenged to be the best version of themselves.
π Girlsβ cricket is a key part of our vision β we actively encourage girls to attend the Open Sessions and are committed to providing a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment for female players to thrive.

Weβre thrilled to confirm the re-signing of Brad Wadlan π - returning to Newbridge Fields after a decade away to take on a huge dual role at the club.
With over 7,000 runs and 297 wickets to his name in the SWPCL ππ₯, weβre delighted to have Brad back at BTCC β the place where it all began for him as a Junior π
Brad, currently completing his ECB Level 4 coaching course, will be spearheading the newly formed BTCC Junior Academy ππ₯ driving the development of our young players, while also strengthening our First XI for the season ahead. ππͺ
A massive signing, a major boost for the whole club, and a brilliant moment as we welcome Brad back home to Newbridge Fields. ππ€π‘π₯

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our former chairman, Colin Cooke.
Colin made a lasting contribution to Bridgend Town Cricket Club and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
