Bridgend Sports RFC Minis & Juniors

A good day for our Mini & Juniors to Youth pathway.

As a club, we are fully committed to our Minis–Juniors–Youth–Seniors pathway, so it is always pleasing to see that commitment paying off.

In recent months, we have seen players transition from our Junior section, once they reach 16, into consideration for the Youth Squad, as well as attending training and squad events. Likewise, when Youth players turn 18, they come into consideration for our Senior squads, with some already having featured for the A’s this season.

Today, four of our U16s: Kaiden Morgan, Dan Perriman, Jay Johns and Cadyn Rees played in the Ospreys Youth Division 1 fixture against Nantymoel.

A brilliant reflection of the work being done across the club and another positive step in the development of our young players.

A proud day for the Perriman family and our MJ Chair, as brothers Joe and Dan lined up together for Bridgend Sports Youth against Bonymaen.

The brothers have been part of the Sports since U7s. Dan is now making the step up from U16s, while Joe is in his final season with the Youth and is set to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps by moving into the senior ranks next season.

Huge congratulations to the Bridgend Sports contingent of the Ogwr Hawks.

The u12s squad shared the Ospreys West Wales Cup with Taf Tigers after a hard fought 28-28 draw in the final this morning.

The former 🔵&⚪️ Super Girls were magnificent 💪👌👏👏
