We’re proud to offer a fun, friendly and welcoming environment where players can enjoy their rugby, develop their skills and become part of a real team.

Our U13s enjoyed a fantastic 2025/26 season, becoming District G GMG Cup Champions, Tigers Challenge Champions and Ospreys U12s Cup Champions 🏆🏆🏆 — but for us, it’s about much more than trophies.

Bridgend Sports RFC are extremely saddened to hear of the tragic loss of Rob Howe.

Rob’s son, Ieuan, first played with us during his tag rugby days. After taking a break from the game, we were delighted to welcome Ieuan back to the club at U15 level, this time with Rob joining him as part of the coaching set-up.

Rob quickly became a valued and much-liked member of our club and a friend to many. His passing has been deeply felt by everyone who knew him

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Rob’s family and friends at this devastating and incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Rob.💙🤍

📣 Bridgend District Schools U11

Following a three-day trial process, 7 boys from our club have been selected for Bridgend District under 11's squad for the 2026/27 season.

An incredible achievement, with 5 players from our under 10's and 2 players from our under 11's making the final squad of 34 players.

The boys have been outstanding throughout and are a huge credit to themselves, their families, their coaches and the club.

Huge congratulations to Eli, Sonny, Farley, Dewi, Zach, Max and Harry.

The future is bright!!

A good day for our Mini & Juniors to Youth pathway.

As a club, we are fully committed to our Minis–Juniors–Youth–Seniors pathway, so it is always pleasing to see that commitment paying off.

In recent months, we have seen players transition from our Junior section, once they reach 16, into consideration for the Youth Squad, as well as attending training and squad events. Likewise, when Youth players turn 18, they come into consideration for our Senior squads, with some already having featured for the A’s this season.

Today, four of our U16s: Kaiden Morgan, Dan Perriman, Jay Johns and Cadyn Rees played in the Ospreys Youth Division 1 fixture against Nantymoel.

A brilliant reflection of the work being done across the club and another positive step in the development of our young players.

A proud day for the Perriman family and our MJ Chair, as brothers Joe and Dan lined up together for Bridgend Sports Youth against Bonymaen.

The brothers have been part of the Sports since U7s. Dan is now making the step up from U16s, while Joe is in his final season with the Youth and is set to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps by moving into the senior ranks next season.

Well done to both 👏👏👏
