A remarkable year of fundraising has led to national recognition for one PGA Member.

Christian Askins has been named The PGA’s 2025 Toby Sunderland Award winner, recognising an outstanding charitable contribution.

The Bridgend Golf Complex Advanced Professional raised more than £11,000 for Alzheimer’s Research UK through an exceptional series of physical efforts. From daily 10km runs to a full month of half marathons, his work also helped drive vital awareness of a cause close to many.

A powerful example of the impact PGA Members can make, both within and beyond the game.
