This was Mo’s reality in October
For the first time since having her boys she felt comfy in her own skin with (almost) everything out
She felt fashionable in her skirt and crop top co-ords
And didn’t have to run away every time a camera was pulled out ❌
Instead she could cherish the memories of this amazing holiday with her favourite people

Where could you be after 2 years of consistent lifting?
This is my client Meg
When we first chatted back in 2020, Meg wanted to look a bit more toned, get stronger and feel confident in her body
But she had no idea how to get there
At the time she was eating as little as possible and had nowhere else to go with her calories
She’d thought about weight training but felt so overwhelmed in the gym, not knowing what to do or how to do it
She was scared of getting it wrong and feeling like an absolute mug 😅
Most importantly Meg didn’t want to be afraid of higher calorie foods anymore
She didn’t want to be stressing over an unplanned Starbucks 🧋
So here’s what we did…
👉🏻 We swapped her boring cardio workouts to 3x a week weight training
👉🏻 She learnt how to set up and lift with great technique, soaring her confidence even in a busy gym
👉🏻 We increased her weights week by week so that she could grow and get that toned look�
In that time, Meg’s gone from a bustling student life to working long hours in her office job
And so we’ve adapted her plan to her new, less active schedule
After spending her first 5 months of coaching in lockdown 2.0
Lifting is now part of her identity
And back in 2020 she never would have pictured

“I couldn’t do that”🙁
Sound familiar?
You’re looking at other women wishing you were as motivated as them
As dedicated as them
As confident as them
But you still sit there convincing yourself that you could never do what they do
It’s easier to imagine them as some kind of perfect superhero who doesn’t live in the real world
Than accept that this can be you
Accept that it’s your limiting beliefs that are stopping you 😟
I know you have no idea what to do in the gym
I know you think everyone will look at you and laugh
I know you’ve never got the results you wanted from HIIT class, Zumba or spin
So it’s hard to picture yourself feeling proud when you look in the mirror
Or showing off your curves in a tight dress at your works do
Or realising you’re stronger than you ever thought you were
Sure you can try and go it alone again
But you’ll probably get thrown off when it’s pouring with rain, there’s no food in the fridge and a Chinese is calling your name
“I’ll start again Monday”
Or you’ll simply get fed up at the lack of changes and stop

Self-conscious and exhausted to body confident and energised ✨
Here’s how Bethan transformed her body and lifestyle whilst living with MS…
Back in March Bethan was sick of constantly being exhausted
She wouldn’t wear shorts or dresses because of her thighs
And getting her stomach out was a no no
How could she lose weight when HIIT workouts would leave her floored for days
How could she slash her calories when food was the only thing making her feel better
When we chatted about IGNITE, I told her that high impact workouts were off the cards
She couldn’t believe that she didn’t need burpees or sprints to lose weight 🤯
Instead of eating 1200 calories, we’d focus on filling and energising foods
(And she didn’t have to cut out ice cream)
And this is what happened:
👉🏻After just 2 months she was rocking a crop top and getting her tummy out
👉🏻She went to the F1 and smashed out 30k steps a day without being knocked out from fatigue
👉🏻She’s wearing shorts in the gym and showing off her strong, sculpted body
And how did we do it?
✅ 3x weights sessions at home per week. Bethan went from having no clue how to set up weights, how to lift and how to avoid injury, to getting a gym membership because she wanted a bigger challenge
✅ We moved to a “living phase” over the summer. She maintained her weight loss, lifted heavier and enjoyed time with her boyfriend
✅ Now she’s dropping inches again during our Autumn challenge in her second fat loss phase
Bethan did this without killing herself on the treadmill or cutting out carbs 🥪
After keeping the weight off, Bethan’s now in her second diet phase
Her goal is to build up her core and upper body strength
And go into the party season in the best shape of her life 💃🏼

Cardio bunny to strong and sculpted 🐰
Cheryl was exhausted back in March
Her body had changed over the past few years, especially since becoming perimenopausal
She couldn’t wear shorts because she hated her thighs
And her body confidence was through the floor 😓
Last year, she’d be in the gym at 6am smashing out 5ks on the treadmill BEFORE my spin class
But since getting covid and learning she was peri-menopausal her energy levels had plummeted 🪫
She couldn’t get up in the morning and even thinking about spin class was a chore
During our first call, I told Cheryl she didn’t need spin or HIIT to sculpt her shape
And after 6 months this is what happened…
👉🏻Cheryl whipped out her shorts all summer long whilst embracing her cellulite
👉🏻Cheryl no longer starves herself or suffers from crazy cravings
👉🏻She sculpted her arms, back and abs, feeling strong and powerful
And how did we do it?
✅ Removing Cheryls food rules, increasing her calories whilst allowing all foods - including choccy
✅ 2-3x weights sessions a week and upping her protein intake to sculpt her shape and see more definition
✅ Eliminating pressure she was putting on herself to be perfect and instead celebrating what her body could do
Cheryl did this without 6am spin class or suffering on a miserable diet

It’s world menopause day 🌎
Lots of the women that I work with have suffered for years before being diagnosed with perimenopause or menopause
And 1 in 10 women take 9 doctors appointments to get a diagnosis 😳
Shrugging it off as a natural process can be a ticking time bomb for women’s long-term health
Both physically and mentally 🧠
So I’ll be using this week to raise awareness of the hormone deficiency that affects all women
I’ll share some of the stories of my Lifting Gang ladies
And cover my area of expertise relating to weight loss, nutrition and weight training for the menopause

And the BAFTA goes to…
Sam is 10kg down since joining IGNITE at the end of June 🏆
She came to me struggling with weight gain
She’d gone up 3 dress sizes since starting the menopause and now just couldn’t shift it
Due to her career in television, she’d often be out networking with food and drinks 🥂
She’d gone to running clubs and gym classes in the past but now she couldn’t get into a consistent routine
The idea of exercise felt like a chore🫠
She knew that lifting weights would improve her mobility, joint health and mood, but didn’t know where to start or what to do
Her goal was to drop the dress sizes, have a structured workout routine and get her spark back⚡️
So here’s what we did:
👉🏻We planned her calories to fit around Friday date night and any unexpected networking
👉🏻We upped her protein intake to keep hunger at bay and make the fat loss easier
👉🏻Sam used my Lifting Library videos to build confidence in the gym and got feedback each week to improve her technique
