Sometimes when your brakes are no longer working as well as they used to, you don't always need new pads. On the right is a pad that has accumulated a layer of dirt and has glazed over. On the left is a pad that was in the same condition but has been cleaned and resurfaced.

Something very different today. Have been fixing trikes for people with disabilities. I'm going to ache tomorrow, these things are very heavy to work with. Great to know they are now back in action, and giving people enjoyment.

If someone says they know a bit about bikes offers to fix yours, please be careful. Stripped threads cost a lot more in labour than it would have done.

I have a girls or short ladies mountain bike for sale. 14" frame 26" wheels, 18 gear and front suspension.

Bike is mechanically sound I have fitted 2 new brake cables and noodles. It does have scratches and some rust, otherwise in excellent condition. The bike could do with a new front tire before too long, which I can supply and fit for an extra £15 (no labour charge).

The bike has just undergone a 30 point check and adjust worth £40 and had £10 of parts fitted. I need the space back that the bike is taking up so the asking price is ONLY £30.
